Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday December 21st 2004 Starlene sat up on the sofa and reached for the ringing telephone in her Upper East Side mansion. "Morgan residence," she answered still proud of her new married name. "Hi Starlene," Tiffany said sniffing as she wiped tears from her cheeks. "What's the matter?" "Skeeter came over to talk to me. I told him how I just couldn't help being jealous of Deanna. I explained that him renting my extra bedroom to a stripper while I was out of town was just too much," she said recalling the conversation with her ex-husband and neighbor. "Yeah, well what did he say?" "We went through the question about whether Deanna danced for him while I was gone and he once again denied it." "Do you believe him?" "I don't know. I guess I'll try to. I've asked him a thousand times and he continues to say she didn't." "Well, there. Don't you feel better?" "No." "Why?" "Because he went home and Deanna is still over there in his apartment." "Well, did Vinny come home?" "No, he says she's over there waiting for Vinny to come home." "Well, then maybe it's okay Tiffany. Maybe she really is just waiting for Vinny." "I let something slip that I shouldn't have," Tiffany said. "What?" "I asked him if he knew where Deanna got all of this money all of a sudden." "What did he say?" "I could see the change on his face Starlene. He didn't know she had come into a lot of money. I could see it in his eyes. He said 'no' but his whole expression changed." "Oh, I can see how that would bother you." "Yeah. Now he's back over there with her alone! He knows she has a lot of money and I just heard the music turn on again," Tiffany said starting to cry once more. "Oh gee. I can see how hard this is for you Tiffany. I couldn't stand it either. We have to find out where she got the money." "She started to tell me but stopped because she was worried that I couldn't be trusted. I promised not to tell. Now I've told Skeeter. What if he tells her?" "Did you ask him not to tell?" "Yeah. But I can't be sure that he won't." "Something has to be done Tiffany. I can't stand to see my sister all upset like this." "I don't know what can be done. I have to let her stay. Skeeter was willing to tell her to leave, but I stopped him. I need the rent money from her. She says she'll pay all the rent. How can I throw her out?" "Well, if he offered to throw her out, then my guess is that he isn't having an affair with her," Starlene said. "Well, maybe not then, but now he knows she has a lot of money," Tiffany said before blowing her nose. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
