Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday December 20th 2004 "I don't like it Skeeter. I don't like the fact that you were over there in your apartment alone with Deanna," Tiffany said referring to her new roommate that works as a stripper. "Look Tiffany. I'm getting sick of this. I told you that nothing is going on between me and that girl." "Why did you rent my extra bedroom to her while I was out of town? Why Skeeter?" "I was trying to do you a favor. You aren't working and you said you needed the rent. She needed an answer right away." "I want to know if she danced for you when you interviewed her?" "We've been through this a hundred times." "And a hundred times I think you've avoided my question." "The answer is NO! No, she didn't dance for me," he lied. "Okay. Are you telling me the truth?" she asked through narrowed eyes. "Yes," he said glancing at the floor to avoid her eyes. "Skeeter why is she over at your apartment now?" "She's waiting for Vinny to come home." "When is Vinny coming home? How long will it be?" "Tiffany I've never heard so many questions over nothing." "Nothing? How can you say that? You were alone over there with my roommate, the stripper and the music was playing. Why don't you think that's something?" "You're just stressed out and depressed Tiffany. I think you're losing confidence in yourself since you got laid off from that job." "Well, gee. How do you think I should feel? You rent out my extra bedroom to a stripper while I'm out of town. Then your roommate the Mafia man, Vinny hangs around over here with Deanna all the time. I've had it," she said throwing up her hands. "Okay. I'll tell Deanna that you're on the verge of a nervous breakdown and she has to leave," he said getting up from the sofa and starting towards the front door. "Wait," she said getting up and following him. "What? Don't you want her out of here? I'll get her out of here," he said walking faster towards the door. "Wait Skeeter! Wait," she said as he put his hand on the doorknob. "What? What do you want Tiffany? It's now or never," he said sternly. "You can't tell her to leave," she said as her shoulders slumped. "And why?" "Because she told me she'd pay all of the rent. I don't have the money to pay the rent." "Oh! So it seems like to me you had better start being a little nicer to Deanna," he said as he stood in front of her door. "This is just horrible. I can't help being jealous. You were over there alone with her and I heard the music. I was afraid she was dancing for you or something," she said wiping a tear from her cheek. "Well, she wasn't. She's waiting for Vinny to get home. You're allowing your imagination to run wild. If I did half the things you think I do, it would be remarkable." "I'll try to trust you more. But I can't promise to trust her." "That's between the two of you." "Skeeter do you know where she got all this money all of sudden?" "What are you talking about? How much money has she got?" he asked surprised and intrigued by the news. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
