Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday December 16th 2004 Tiffany glanced into the mirror to see if her mascara had run after crying. She brushed her long blonde hair back and started towards the front door of her apartment. She walked out into the hallway and knocked on the door to her ex-husband Skeeter's apartment. Her roommate the stripper Deanna had left about an hour ago to go to Skeeter's and see his roommate Mafia Vinny. The only problem was Tiffany wasn't sure Vinny was home tonight. Tiffany knocked on the door. She put her ear to the door to listen. She heard the sounds of music and then she heard Skeeter's voice. "Did you hear somebody at the door?" Skeeter asked. "I don't know. They'll go away. Just ignore it," Deanna said. "You think so?" Skeeter asked. "Yeah. I don't want to be bothered do you Big Daddy?" Deanna asked. "Nope," Skeeter said as the music got louder. Tiffany could feel tears coming to her eyes. She took a deep breath and knocked louder. "Sounds like whoever it is isn't giving up," Deanna said. "I'll go to the door," Skeeter said. Tiffany could feel her heart racing as she heard Skeeter's footsteps coming towards the front door. He jerked the door open and smiled when he saw her standing in the hallway. "Hey Baby, what are you doing here?" "I just wanted to see if you'd like to come over tonight," she said nodding her head towards her apartment. "Tiffany! You decided to come over," Deanna said walking to the door of Skeeter's apartment. "Where's Vinny?" Tiffany asked glancing behind them into Skeeter's apartment. "He's not here yet," Deanna said smiling broadly. "Well, I better go," Tiffany said turning to walk back to her door. "Come on in Baby," Skeeter said trying to grab her by the arm. "Enjoy your party Skeeter," Tiffany said walking back into her apartment and slamming the door. "Damn, can you believe her?" Skeeter said as Tiffany listened at her front door. "I better go over there. She might be mad," Deanna said. "She's always mad," Skeeter said accustomed to her bad moods since she lost her job. "You think I should go back to the apartment?" Deanna asked. "She might bite your head off," Skeeter said. "We were having fun. I'm in the mood to celebrate. I don't want to be all unhappy tonight," Deanna said. "Then let the good times roll," Skeeter said as the music grew louder. Tiffany walked to the sofa of her apartment and sat down. The tears started to roll down her cheeks as her phone rang. "Hello," she answered. "Did you go over there? Is Vinny over there with Skeeter and Deanna?" Starlene asked. "I went over there. Vinny's not there. I got so upset I just slammed the door in their faces," Tiffany said. "Oh no. Did it look like they were doing anything... you know? Do you think Skeeter and Deanna are doing it?" Starlene asked.
