Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday December 13th 2004 Tiffany watched her topless dancer roommate take a seat in the chair across from the sofa where she was seated. "How did you get a lot of money?" Tiffany asked, her voice filled with suspicion. "Look you have to promise me you won't tell?" Deanna said leaning back in the chair and smiling at Tiffany. "Tell what?" "Oh it's nothing," Deanna said obviously changing her mind about confiding in Tiffany. "You just told me that the strange guy that had been calling you was waiting for you when you got off from work," Tiffany said. "Oh just forget it," Deanna said waving her hand. "Well, he's called here several times looking for you. It's kinda spooky," Tiffany said trying to get up her nerve to ask Deanna to move out. "You mean that scares you? A little phone call from a stranger?" "Well, yeah. I mean I don't know you that well." "Come on Tiffany. I told you I want us to become like sisters." "That's hard to do Deanna," Tiffany said giving her a cold stare. "What's the matter with you?" "I thought you were going to tell me who the man was that's been calling here." "I'm not suppose to tell. It would only put a strain on our relationship, I'm afraid. I just want to tell you that if you're still worried about not having a job, then your worries are over," she said smiling. "How's that?" "The man. Let's just say I'm fixed. If you need money then I have it." "You mean the strange man gave you money?" "I can't go into it. I just want you to know you don't have to worry anymore." "I really don't understand Deanna. How do you expect me to understand?" "I don't expect you to understand. It's just that I'm telling you not to worry about money for the rent. I'll pay the entire rent myself," she said getting up from her chair and walking towards the front door. "The entire rent?" Tiffany asked watching her. "Yeah, the whole thing. Look, you don't need to worry. I like you Tiffany. You're my friend and my roommate. I don't want you to worry," she said starting to open the front door. "Where are you going?" "Next door to see Vinny." "Oh," Tiffany said feeling jealous that her ex-husband Skeeter would be there too. "Want to come with me?" "No." "Okay. I'll tell Big Daddy Skeeter you said hello," she said opening the front door to leave. "You call him that?" "Oh I call a lot of men that honey. It's just an expression!" she said laughing. She stood in the doorway of Tiffany's apartment as she knocked on the door to Skeeter's. "Hey Baby," Skeeter said. "Is Tiffany home?" he asked in a whisper. "Yeah, but she doesn't want to come over," Deanna said in a quiet voice. "Just a sec Skeeter," she said leaning back in the doorway of Tiffany's apartment. "See you later Tiffany. If you change your mind come on over," she said closing the door. Tiffany jumped up and ran to the doorway to listen. "What's my old lady doing?" Skeeter asked as he watched the buxom dancer walk into his apartment. "Just sitting around as usual," Deanna said. "It's boring over there ain't it baby?" he said before closing the door to his apartment. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
