Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday December 3rd 2004 Tiffany heard the knock on the front door of her apartment and turned down the sound on the TV. She walked towards the door expecting her ex-husband and next door neighbor Skeeter to be there since they had been fighting earlier today. She opened the door ready to give him another dose of her anger for renting her extra bedroom to stripper Deanna while she was out of town. "Hi Tiffany. How are you?" Skeeter's roommate Mafia Vinny said smiling broadly. "I'm okay Vinny. Look Deanna isn't here," she said annoyed to see him at her door. "Oh I know that. I was hoping maybe I could talk to you," Vinny said in his thick Brooklyn accent. "Me?" Tiffany asked frowning. "Yeah. Are you busy?" he said eyeing the baggy gray sweatsuit she was wearing. "No, I'm not busy," she said standing back so he could come into the apartment. She closed the door and followed him into the living room. She watched as he took a seat on the sofa. She took a seat in a chair nearby. "Well, what's up Vinny?" she asked crossing her legs. "I came here to ask you that," he said grinning. "What does that mean? I'm not in the mood for jokes Vinny." "I can see you ain't in much of a mood." "I've had a hard day," she said thinking about her blow up with Skeeter. "I know. Skeeter told me that the twos of you are having some troubles." "Oh so now Skeeter tells you about our fights?" "Well, when they involve my girl, it's personal," he said referring to her stripper roommate Deanna. "You mean Deanna?" she asked remembering the nights he'd been spending in her apartment recently. "Yeah, my girl Deanna. Skeeter says that you're real jealous of her." "That's not true! That's not true at all," she said shaking her head. "I can understand how a girl like Deanna would be hard for you to handle. I mean she's really a looker and she don't mind being looked at," he said cupping his hands away from his chest to illustrate Deanna's large double D bosom. "I am not jealous of Deanna. Far from it," Tiffany said defiantly. "I know it's hard cause Deanna dresses up in all those gowns and she's all glamorous and here you are unemployed and stuff," he said pointing to her baggy sweat pants. "That's just not true. I just don't like having a stripper living in my apartment. I have a right to feel that way." "Don't get all mad at me now Tiffany," he said holding up his hands as if to back off. "I'm not mad. I have a right. I live here and Skeeter rented the room to her while I was out of town. Then you come over hanging out every night. I like my privacy." "Well, look here. I'm trying to be patient with you. I don't want to lose my temper," he said as he played with the gold chain on his masculine neck. "I'm not mad. What do you want to tell me Vinny?" "I just wanted to give you some friendly advice here." "Okay Vinny. You and I have never been friends. But go ahead, give me your friendly advice," she said through narrowed eyes. "Tiffany I can see why Skeeter is having trouble with you. You ain't the easiest woman in the world to talk to," he said. "What? What do you want to tell me Vinny." "That I don't want you making life hard for Deanna. She's my woman now. I wanted to marry your sister Starlene, but you came between us. I want Deanna. Don't mess this one up for me too. You hear?" He said frowning and getting up to walk toward the front door to leave. "Are you threatening me Vinny? Because if you are, then I'm going to tell Skeeter." "This is between me and you. I don't want no trouble out of you. I just want you to be polite and nice to Deanna until I get her to marry me. Don't mess up this romance. Do you hear me?" he said sternly. "I'll try," she said meekly as she watched him walk out of the door. He quickly turned and looked at her. "Between me and you Tiffany. I think you need to fix up some for Skeeter. Dress up some, you know. Put on makeup and stuff like Deanna does", he said before walking out into the hallway. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
