Greenwich Village is an area bounded by Spring Street and 14th Street, between Greenwich Street and Broadway. Greenwich Village has a reputation as a Bohemian enclave. Today we'll show you what attracts so many artists, writers and the avant-garde to Greenwich Village.
Take a trip to a rooftop in Greenwich Village and you'll see the Empire State Building as seen in the picture top right.
From the same rooftop in the village you can also see 6th Avenue center right.
Bottom right picture you see 6th Avenue on the street level. In the distance you see Jefferson Market. This beautiful building once was a court house. Today Jefferson Market is one of the local public libraries in the village.
