The world knows downtown NYC has certainly seen it's share of suffering and pain. The cameras have focused on the turmoil and grief, but there's a lot more to downtown New York City. This area is filled with history, beautiful buildings, some of the best restaurants in the world and the strongest people on the earth!
Top right you the skyline of New York City as seen from the southern most tip of the island at Battery Park. Of course, we all miss the sight of the World Trade Towers when we look at this picture. But remember to focus your attention on all of the beautiful sights left. The artwork is still there to arouse our imagination and help us find our sense of humor.
Center right picture you see "Hope Garden" only a few blocks from Ground Zero at Battery Park City.
