Top left picture you see East 9th and Avenue A. This area of the city is close to Tompkins Square Park. In this area you'll find the funky stores and many new nightclubs.
Top right picture you see a building on Great Jones Street. The East Village is a little more colorful and funky than Greenwich Village and the rents are a little less expensive here, but not much.
Center right picture you see inside Mod World at 85 First Avenue. If you're looking for something unique Mod World is a great place to go for unusual fun loving gifts.
