Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday May 24th 2005 "Jake, let me show you my office", Stanley said as the two men got up from the sofa of Stanley's Upper East Side mansion. "I'd love to see it. I'd like to see those pictures you were telling me about too. The ones of old New York," Jake said as the two men walked down the hallway towards the older man's office. "They really like each other," Starlene whispered as the two women watched . Tiffany got up and walked to a chair closer to her sister's so they could talk without the men hearing them. "Thanks so much Starlene. I don't know how I ever would have gotten a chance to spend this much time with Jake." "I told you we would figure everything out," she said as they heard the two men talking in the office nearby. "Do you think Jake likes me at all?" Tiffany asked. "Yes. I do. I really thinks he likes you." "I hope so. How can you tell?" "The way he looks at you sometimes when you aren't looking at him." "Oh really?" "Yeah." "He always looks away when I try to make eye contact." "I think it's because he doesn't know whether he should make a pass at you or not," Starlene said. "I wish I knew how to get it across to him that I'm interested." "He'll know soon," Starlene said grinning. "What do you mean?" "Stanley is going to tell him. About right now," Starlene said leaning her head towards her husband's office. "No?" Tiffany said shocked. "Yeah. Stanley is going to have a man-to-man with him." "Oh my gosh. What do you think he'll think of me?" "You know my Stanley will tell him in such a way that if he isn't interested then it will be okay too. You can't lose here," Starlene said glancing towards Stanley's office. "I wonder how I'll know what he thinks." "You'll know. I bet if he's interested he'll go back to your apartment with you tonight," Starlene said. "I can't believe this. I can't believe Stanley is talking to him like that," Tiffany said getting up from her chair and tiptoeing towards the office. "Go ahead," Starlene whispered as she got up from her chair and tiptoed beside her sister. The two women sneaked closer to Stanley's office. They stopped in the hallway between Stanley's office and the entrance to the library so they could duck in if the men spotted them. "That Tiffany is really a looker, isn't she?" Stanley asked as he poured brandy for his guest. "Yes, she's a very attractive woman." "Do you ever think about her that way?" "You mean?" Jake asked inferring that he knew what Stanley was talking about. "Yeah. That way," Stanley assured him grinning. "Well, she is pretty." "Take it from me. I know Tiffany. She likes you. If you want her, she could be yours. Anytime, she's ready," Stanley added for emphasis. "Thanks Stanley. Thanks," Jake said. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
