Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday May 17th 2005 "It looks like you did a great job of setting your computer up all by yourself Tiffany," Jake said. He followed her from her bedroom office into the living room of her Bleecker Street apartment. "Thanks for taking a look at everything," she said motioning for him to take a seat on the sofa in her living room. "I hope you like wine?" she asked as she stood before the coffee table smiling at him. "Well, sure." "Excuse me a second. I'll go get the wine," she said turning and walking towards the kitchen. She could feel his eyes on her hips as she walked away and out of his sight. "You're really learning a lot about computers Tiffany," he called out referring to her new system and the one at his office. "Oh, it's because you're a great teacher Jake," she said as she walked back into the living room with the open wine bottle and two glasses. "This is nice. I wasn't expecting wine," he said as she took a seat on the sofa beside him. "It's the least I can do," Tiffany said pouring the wine and handing him a glass. "Too us," she said feeling her face redden as she proposed the toast her sister Starlene had instructed her to. "To us," Jake said smiling as he lifted his glass to his lips. "I hope you like the wine?" Tiffany asked putting her glass on the table and watching him. "Yes, the wine is nice. I hope you're enjoying your new job at my modeling agency," he asked. "Yes. I love it." "You know we've got some good jobs coming in soon," he said. "Good." "If things go the way they're looking now, you might get a raise sooner than I thought," he said smiling. "Oh, I just started." "Surely you wouldn't turn down a raise if the jobs and money come through?" "No, of course not. When will you know?" "Nina is doing a shot in Italy next week. It's a magazine cover. It looks like I might have the model that really puts my agency on the map," he said referring to the gorgeous model. "You need more wine," Tiffany said wanting to change the subject from her rival Nina. "Thanks," he said as he watched her fill his glass. "Cheers," she said as she lifted her glass to him in a toast. "I must be the luckiest guy in the world," he said as he leaned back on the sofa after sipping his wine. "Why is that?" Tiffany asked hoping he would say it had something to do with her. "My business is just coming together perfectly. I've got a model that might be the next super model and I've got a great secretary," he said smiling at Tiffany. "I'm glad you're happy," Tiffany said trying to hide her disappointment that the praise wasn't exclusively for her. "Oh gosh, look at the time," he said as he glanced down at his watch. "You aren't in a hurry are you?" "Well, I don't want to keep you up. We do have to work tomorrow," he said. "It wouldn't hurt if we are a little tired. I'll bring in extra Starbucks," Tiffany said. "Besides we were just getting to know each other a little better," she said pretending to pout. "I haven't had dinner and this wine might go to my head," he said watching her closely. "I could make us dinner." "No, that's too much trouble," he said as he took another sip of his wine. "We could order in. I have another bottle of wine chilling too," she said in her sexiest voice. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
