Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday May 5th 2005 "Have a nice time at lunch Jake," Tiffany said as she watched her handsome new boss walk out of his office in the Empire State Building. "Thanks. I'll see you both later," he waved as he glanced back to see Tiffany and her sister Starlene watching him closely. Through the glass windows of the offices they watched as Jake walked over to meet Starlene's husband for lunch. "He is cute Tiffany," Starlene said as soon as they saw Jake open Stanley's office door across the hallway. "It's hard to keep my eyes off of him," Tiffany said giggling. "Do you think he liked my pictures?" Starlene asked referring to the photos she had given Jake in hopes he'd cast her as a model. "Does Stanley know you had those pictures taken?" Tiffany asked her eyes still fixed on Jake as she watched him through the windows. "No, I don't tell him everything." "Honestly Starlene, you should have told me you were going to give Jake pictures like that," Tiffany said turning to give her sister a dirty look. "I was dressed," Starlene said defensively. "Barely. I saw Jake's face turn red Starlene." "Oh, you are too uptight. He was just surprised at how good I looked," she said thinking about her image in the string bikini. "I'm the one that's single and wants his attention. Now he'll be thinking about you in that string." "You're jealous," Starlene said grinning. "Yeah. I really like this guy. It's bad enough that Nina might be his girlfriend and models stop by all day long. Now you have to go and let him see how beautiful you are," Tiffany said pouting. "That's nice Tiffany, but I'm sure he's interested in you. I just hope he'll cast me in something. I might be married, but a girl has to look after herself. I wouldn't turn down a sexy role or something." "They're leaving!" Tiffany whispered nodding her head towards the window. Starlene turned to see her husband Stanley and Jake walking towards the elevator chatting away as if old friends already. "My Stanley will find out everything you need to know about Jake." "I can't wait for this to be over and we can find out what Jake tells Stanley at lunch today." "Me too. I'll call Stanley soon and see what's going on," Starlene said as she watched as the two men boarded the elevator just before the doors closed. "Give them time to get downstairs Starlene," Tiffany said. "I will," Starlene said as Tiffany's cell phone rang. Tiffany grabbed the tiny cell phone on her desk and unfolded it answering "Hello." She glanced towards Starlene and noticed she was watching her. "Skeeter no, this isn't a good time to talk," Tiffany said rolling her eyes as Starlene watched. "No, it's a new job I can't have my ex-husband dropping by," she said before pausing to listen to his reply. "Okay. I'll talk to you tonight. Bye," she said hanging up the phone. "What's going on with Skeeter?" Starlene asked seeing that her sister was visibly upset after the call. "He was standing inside his apartment door the other day when you left my apartment," Tiffany said. "How much did he hear?" Starlene asked realizing they had girl talked too loud. "He heard you talk about me and Jake, I'm sure." "Was he angry?" "He's watching. You know Skeeter," she said raising her eyebrows as she watched her sister's anxious expression. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
