Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday April 26th 2005 Tiffany glanced up from her desk at her new job at the casting and modeling agency in the Empire State Building. "Hi Tiffany," Starlene said as she walked into the door and glanced around at the chic new furnishings. "Hi Starlene," Tiffany said smiling with pride as she watched her sister look at the artwork on the walls and the sleek red sofa in the lobby. "Is Jake here?" she asked referring to Tiffany's new boss. "No, he went to a meeting downtown." "Great! So we're alone?" Starlene asked glancing into Jake's office. "Yes. We're alone for a while," Tiffany said as she watched her sister take a seat on the red sofa. "So tell me all about the job so far," Starlene said glancing out of the window at the view of New York City. "It seems like it will be kinda easy. I'll be handling the phone calls and stuff. It's been kinda quiet so far," Tiffany said. "Good. That gives you some time to relax. Is he nice?" "Very nice. He was apologizing that he couldn't spend time with me this morning. He gave me a password to work the computer and left." "So did you find out more about his personal life?" "No. I still don't know if he has a girlfriend or not." "So have you met any clients or anything?" "No. It's a new business." "Oh. So is he just getting started in the business?" "Yeah. I think he worked for another agency and decided to go out on his own." "That's cool." "Yeah, I'll be starting on the ground floor. That's what he said." "Good. Let's hope he's really successful." "I hope so. He's on a sales call. He says he has a lot more models than he does jobs for them." "Have you seen any of the pictures?" "Yeah, look in that book, right there on the coffee table," Tiffany said pointing to a large fabric covered black book. "Oh," Starlene said as she picked up the heavy book and opened it. "Oh wow. These pictures are beautiful," she said as she looked at the pictures of models and actresses. "That might be my problem," Tiffany said. "He's surrounded by beautiful women all the time, huh?" Starlene said knowingly. "Yeah. And he's so good looking too. I know these women probably come on to him," Tiffany worried out loud. "But you'll be working for him Tiffany. You'll be part of his new business. He'll be close to you, not these women," Starlene said hopefully. "I hope so. I hope you're right about that. I mean if he doesn't already have a girlfriend." "I bet he doesn't. Don't you think he would have mentioned it by now?" "Not really. He's very professional. I can't tell." "You'll soon know. Have you snooped in his office yet?" Starlene asked as she got up and walked towards the open door of Jake's office. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
