Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday April 8th 2005 Tiffany lowered the sound on her TV with the remote and reached for the ringing telephone on the coffee table of her Bleecker Street apartment. "Hello", she answered. "Hello Tiffany," Victor said from the back seat of his long limo that was headed towards the Time Warner Building at Columbus Circle. "Hi Victor," she said dryly. "What's the matter? You sound kinda down." "I can't believe that you went to bed with my roommate Deanna," she said referring to his recent appointment to show an apartment to her stripper roommate. "Oh she told you." "Yes, she told me Victor." "It's not a big deal Tiffany." "I have to say I'm glad now that we didn't have a relationship," she said referring to the advances he had made towards her. "If we had a close relationship then maybe it wouldn't have happened with Deanna." "I don't know if I buy that Victor." "Would you like to find out?" "No" "You're a hard one Tiffany. Is Deanna there?" "No, she went to work. At her job as a stripper," she added hoping to make him feel bad about what he had done. "Tell her that I got the rent down some on the apartment that she likes. Tell her to call me if she wants to take it." "I will. That's wonderful news. I can't wait for her to move out." "If you change your mind about us Tiffany, give me a call. It could be a good thing for you," he added. "I appreciate your concern for me. I'll tell Deanna you called," she said hanging up the phone. "I can't believe I went to lunch with that jerk," she said out loud. She heard a knock on the front door and quickly got up to answer. She walked through the living room to the front door as she heard someone in the hallway pounding on the door repeatedly. She quickly opened the door to see an older strange man dressed in a suit. "May I help you?" she asked. "Are you Tiffany Diamond?" the man asked. "Yes." "I'm Larry Martin the new building manager," he said with a stern look on his face. "Nice to meet you," she said smiling sweetly. "I've had reports from some of the tenants in the building that you have several unauthorized roommates staying in the apartment with you," he said. "Who? Who said that?" Tiffany asked unable to think of anything else in her defense. "Several other tenants," he said nodding his head towards the apartment next door. "Skeeter? Did Skeeter Diamond complain?" she asked referring to her ex-husband and neighbor. "I can't divulge that information. I've just had complains about loud music and questionable women coming and going in this apartment." "I'm sorry if anyone has bothered the other tenants," Tiffany said hoping this would satisfy him. "I'm afraid that isn't enough Miss Diamond. We'll have ask you to move out," he said. "What?" CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
