Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday April 6th 2005 The phone rang on the coffee table and Tiffany reached to pick it up. "Hello," she answered. "Hi Tiffany. Is Deanna back yet?" Starlene asked referring to her sister's stripper roommate. "No." "No! She's been gone for an hour now." "I know." "Have you tried calling?" "No, I guess they're in traffic or something." "I can't stand it. Why don't you call and see if she liked the apartment." "I am dying to know too. I hope Deanna acted nice." "Why?" "She said she'd wink if she thought Victor was cute," Tiffany said referring to the real estate agent that had taken Deanna to see the apartment. "Did she wink?" "Oh yeah," Tiffany said remembering the scene when Victor came by to pick up Deanna and take her to the Upper East Side apartment. "It's a good thing she's involved with Vinny or you'd have to worry about her making time with Victor." "I don't care if she does. I've told you before that I'm not interested in Victor. I have Skeeter. "I know, I know. Just call and see how she liked it and call me back." "Okay," Tiffany said. "I'm dying to know if she's moving out or not. I'll call you right back," she said hitting the button to disconnect the phone call. She picked up Victor's business card from the coffee table and dialed the number. "Hello," Deanna answered. "Deanna what are you doing answering Victor's phone?" Tiffany asked. "He's busy now," she said. "Busy?" "Yeah, he told me to answer if the phone rang." "Did you like the apartment?" "Yeah, I love it," Deanna said. "Oh great! So are you taking it?" "I don't know yet." "What do you mean you don't know? If you like it take it." "I'm working on it." "Working on it?" "Yeah, I don't want to pay that much rent." "But you'll have the other dancers living with you so they'll pay some of the rent," Tiffany said starting to worry that the deal would fall through. "I might want it for just me," Deanna said. "But I was trying to find something for all of you," Tiffany said referring to Deanna's co-workers that had moved in when they lost their lease. "I don't want to live with Pinky and Roxy anymore," she said referring to the dancers. "So you'll leave them here in my apartment?" Tiffany asked hoping she was totally off base. "Yeah," Deanna said. "Oh no! You can't do that," Tiffany objected. "Well Victor might find them something too," she said. "Where is Victor now?" Tiffany asked planning to enlist his help. "He's in the shower," Deanna said sheepishly. "Shower? You didn't! Did you?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
