Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday March 28th 2005 Tiffany leaned across her bed in her Bleecker Street apartment and picked up her ringing cell phone. "Hello", she answered. "Tiffany how did it go today?" her sister Starlene asked as she leaned back on her plush sofa in the Upper East Side mansion. "Okay." "Okay? Just okay?" "Well, it was nice to go to lunch with Victor. Is that what you mean?" "Of course that's what I mean." "He's nice." "Come on Tiffany. You met a wealthy good looking guy that takes you to Tavern on the Green Restaurant on your first date, what do you want?" "It was nice. I know you and Stanley set me up." "It was all Stanley's idea," Starlene said referring to her wealthy older husband. "It's seemed strange to be filling in for Stanley's secretary and then he fixes me up." "I think Victor might have asked Stanley to fix him up with somebody." "Oh... Is that what's going on here?" "I don't know. I really don't know. I just know that Victor's a nice guy. Well, did you hit it off?" "He was nice. He made a big point of ordering the most expensive wine with lunch. After lunch he had to go to a meeting, so he had his driver drop me off at Stanley's office. When his driver pulled up in front of the Empire State Building, he reached over as if he were going to kiss me." "Did he?" "No, I turned my head and started to get out of the car." "Why didn't you let him kiss you?" "Because Starlene, I still have Skeeter you know?" "Honestly, you let a rich guy like that slide through your fingers for Skeeter?" "I love Skeeter. Even if I want to kill him most of the time." "Skeeter is the very reason you're living with three strippers and Mafia Vinny too." "I know. I know that Starlene. But that doesn't mean I have to have a love affair with Victor either." "Don't you think Victor's cute?" "He's cute. He's just not my type." "Oh, come on Tiffany. Are you crazy?" "I still have Skeeter in my life. I'm not ready to start something else." "But Victor could help you out." "Yeah, he said he would try and help find an apartment for these dancers." "Well, that's a big deal!" "I know." "Not worth a kiss?" "You know how that goes, first a kiss, then more, more, more." "But with Victor that might be a real good thing Tiffany." "Tell Stanley thanks for trying to fix me up, but I'm not ready for a relationship." "Did you accept Victor's offer to help you with the dancers?" "Yeah." "So do you think he'll still help you?" "Sure." "How can you be so sure since you turned him down?" "Because he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that gives up that easily." "I hope not." "Don't you have more confidence in me than that?" "Stanley says that Victor has women lined up waiting for him." "So why did he ask Stanley to fix him up?" "Stanley says he has issues with trusting women because he has money." "You mean he's that rich?" "I don't know that's he's that rich, he's just had some bad experiences." "Haven't we all," Tiffany said. "Then you'll give him a chance?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
