Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday March 17th 2005 "Hi Starlene, sorry I'm late. I ran into the traffic from the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Fifth Avenue. Anyway, thanks for letting me come over," Tiffany said as her sister held open the door to her Upper East Side mansion. "I can't believe that Vinny and Deanna let strippers spend the night at your apartment while you were gone," Starlene said as the sister's walked into the living room. "Yeah, Vinny told them they could stay there until they find another apartment," Tiffany said as she took off her jacket and handed it to Starlene. "Make yourself at home," Starlene said handing her sister's coat to the housekeeper. "I don't know what I'm going to do," Tiffany said in a quiet voice as they watched the housekeeper walk down the hallway towards the kitchen. "You have to get all of them out of your apartment." "I know. Believe me I know. But until I do I don't know what to do." "You can stay here if you want," Starlene said taking a seat beside her sister on the sofa. "Oh that's nice Starlene but I can't. You and Stanley are newlyweds. You need your time together." "The house is so big we'd never know you're here," Starlene said. "No honey. I can't do that." "What about Skeeter? Do you think there's any chance you can move in with him?" "Not really. He's not ready. I think it might ruin our relationship at this point. I want to marry him not run him off with my problems," Tiffany said. "Hi Tiffany," Stanley said as he walked into the living room of his mansion. "Oh hi Stanley. I just came by to visit Starlene and get away from my apartment," she said noticing that he was dressed in a smoking jacket and slippers. "Yeah. Starlene told me that you've got three strippers staying with you now," he said laughing. "Can you believe it?" Tiffany said shaking her head. "I'd like to see it... just kidding," he said patting Starlene on the head as he walked by and took a seat in a nearby chair. "You better be kidding Stanley Morgan," Starlene said in her southern accent as she pointed her finger at him. "You two look like you've been married forever," Tiffany said admiring the couple. "Yeah, married life is great," Starlene said. "It sure is. Tiffany your sister tells me you haven't found a job yet," Stanley said as he leaned back in his chair. "No, I'm really looking. I have to find something now. I just have to. I want to move out of that apartment if I can't get rid of the roommates." "I have an idea!" he said smiling broadly as he glanced at both women. "What honey?" Starlene asked. "My secretary is going out on maternity leave. Tiffany why don't you take her place until you find a job," he said glancing towards Tiffany. "Oh I don't know Stanley," Tiffany hesitated. "Tiffany that's a great idea!" Starlene said. "I don't know. I was looking for something permanent." "It might be if she gets married." "I don't know, but that's very nice of you," she said as she considered the offer. "The pay is great and the benefits are excellent. Besides that you don't have to work too hard either," he said as he glanced towards Starlene and she smiled her approval. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
