Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday March 11th 2005 Starlene leaned across the bed and picked up the ringing telephone on the nightstand. "Hello," she answered. "Hi Starlene. I'm glad you aren't asleep," Tiffany said. "What's going on? Did you go over to Skeeter's?" "Yeah. I was packing up my overnight bag when Deanna came home," Tiffany said referring to her stripper roommate. "Yeah. I was on the phone with you when she came in. So what happened after we hung up?" "I told her I was going to Skeeter's to spend the night and if everything went well I might be moving in with him." "Was she surprised?" "She was surprised alright. She said she couldn't imagine Skeeter having one woman." "Really?" Starlene said as she heard her older wealthy husband Stanley turning on the water in the bathroom nearby. "Yeah, it really made me mad. I came right out and asked her if she had an affair with my husband," Tiffany said referring to her ex-husband Skeeter. "What did she say?" "She said no. I don't believe her though. I hate her more now than I did before," Tiffany said. "So where is Skeeter?" "He's working late. Our very first night together and he's working late. He won't even tell me what time he'll be here. I cooked for him and everything," Tiffany said glancing towards Skeeter's kitchen stove covered in pans of food. "Awe! I'm sorry," Starlene said. "It's okay. I'm trying not to get too upset. I know it's his way of trying to show me that it won't ever work out." "Oh." "Yeah. I'm just going to act as if though it doesn't bother me at all." "You can do that?" "Sure. My plan is to try and make him not ever want to leave me once he gets here," Tiffany said giggling. "That's the same thing I'm doing with Stanley," Starlene said laughing. "You took my advice and got the lingerie back out?" "I sure did. I was afraid he was going to have a heart attack too," she said giggling. "Take it easy Starlene. You don't want to kill him," she said referring to Stanley's advancing age. "No, not until I find out why he's putting all of his properties into Jan's name," Starlene said referring to Stanley's older daughter Jan. "Did you bring it up tonight?" "Yeah, I mentioned it again." "What happened?" "I said 'you know Stan we need a family book with all the relatives written in it. You know something we could pass on if one of us dies,'" Starlene said recalling the conversation earlier tonight. "What did he say?" "He said that it was just he and Jan." "So what did you say to that?" "I said 'well wouldn't you want to pass stuff on to me or Jan?'" "What did he say Starlene?" CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
