Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday March 10th 2005 Starlene leaned across the sofa and picked up the ringing telephone. "Hello," she answered as she watched her husband's housekeeper dusting the antique table nearby. "I'm so glad you're home Starlene," Tiffany said breathlessly. "What's going on?" "I'm packing an overnight bag and going back over to Skeeter's!" she said referring to her ex-husband and next door neighbor. "Oh really? So you talked him into letting you move in?" "No, not exactly." "Then why are you packing up stuff?" "I'm just going to spend tonight and he says we'll see how it goes," Tiffany said. "Oh so he wouldn't commit to letting you move in?" "Not yet, but I'm working on him." "You really sound happy about it Tiffany." "Yeah, it's been a long time since I felt like his wife. I'm looking forward to it," she said as she watched her stripper roommate walk in the front door of her apartment. "Besides it's crowded over here," she said quietly hoping Deanna wouldn't hear her. "I guess Deanna just came home," Starlene asked knowingly. "Yeap." "Is Vinny with her?" Starlene asked referring to Deanna's love interest Mafia Vinny. "No not now." "Well, enjoy your evening with Skeeter. I hope it goes so well you're planning your wedding tomorrow." "Thanks Starlene. I hope it does too. I'll call you back when I get next door," Tiffany said hanging up the phone. "What's going on?" Deanna asked walking towards the door of Tiffany's bedroom and glancing at the overnight bag on her bed. "Just going to spend tonight with Skeeter," she said smiling. "Great. I hope you two have fun. I think Vinny will be home soon," Deanna said glancing at the clock on Tiffany's dresser. "Well, if things go well enough maybe I'll stay with Skeeter every night," Tiffany said as she zipped the bag closed. "Every night?" Deanna asked with a chuckle. "Yeah," Tiffany said quickly glancing at her roommate. "Why"? "Oh nothing," Deanna said grinning. "No, why?" "It's just that I can't imagine… Skeeter having a steady woman," she said shaking her head and smiling. "I was his wife not long ago," Tiffany snapped. "Oh yeah, I know," Deanna said seeing that she had offended her. "I don't see anything so strange about Skeeter having me live with him. He loves me." "I'm sure he does." "He does," Tiffany repeated. "I hope it works out for you Tiffany." "You seem so doubtful about my relationship with Skeeter. Is there something you know that you aren't telling me?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
