Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday March 4th 2005 "Hey Vinny," Skeeter said as his Mafia ex-roommate walked into the apartment and closed the door. "Hey man. You said you need to see me. Is there something the matter?" he asked in his thick Brooklyn accent. "Yeah, make yourself comfortable man," Skeeter said tossing the magazines from the sofa to the floor as Vinny took a seat beside him. "What's up?" Vinny asked. "It's Tiffany. She's all upset over you moving in over there with Deanna," he said referring to the stripper that Vinny was dating. "I know she ain't too happy about it, but that's the way it's gotta be man," Vinny said leaning back on the sofa. "She's really angry over it." "I gotta be near Deanna. I have to know she ain't seeing anybody else at nights when she gets off work." "Can't you just call her and see when she comes home?" "No. I want to spend the nights with her. I don't want nothing messing up this relationship." "What if the two of you got your own place?" "I don't want to sign my name on a rental property," he said referring to his shady background in the Mafia. "What about Deanna getting a place?" "She says she ain't used to having any kind strings attached. She's a free spirit." "This ain't working out for me though. Tiffany's all mad." "She'll chill out sooner or later." "I don't know. She wants to move in here with me since you moved over there in her apartment." "That's an idea." "No man. I don't want to have Tiffany here in my apartment. I might want to mess around. You know what I mean." "So let Tiffany get over it. What's her choice here?" "She says she'll start dating other men." "I don't know man. I don't know what to say." "I don't either. But I don't want Tiffany moving in with me." "Want me to talk to her?" "No, she doesn't really like you that much Vinny." "Well, I ain't changing nothing for Tiffany." "Okay. Then I'll tell Tiffany she can stay over here once in a while. That way maybe she'll be happy and you and Deanna can have some space." "That sounds like a plan to me," Vinny said. "Are you going to marry Deanna?" "I hope so. I want to settle down and have some kids." "Really Vinny? I didn't take you for that kinda guy." "Yeah, I'm ready. I just have to convince her that it's the right thing to do." "What does she want to do?" "She wants to open up her own club." "You mean a strip club?" "Yeah, I've been thinking about it. If she'd quit dancing that would be alright." "I think I can see you guys doing that." "Yeah, me too," Vinny said as they turned their attention towards the front door when they heard a faint knock. "I'll get it," Skeeter said walking towards the door and looking through the peephole. "It's Tiffany. She's here for the answer," Skeeter said in a serious voice. "I gotta go then," Vinny said getting up to leave. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
