Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday February 25th 2005 "I hope that Vinny will move out Starlene. I can't stand having him in my apartment," Tiffany said as she lay in her bed talking to her sister on the telephone. "If you want I'll ask him to leave," Starlene volunteered since she had dated the Mafia connected Vinny a few times before marrying the wealthy Stanley Morgan. "No, Stanley would be jealous if you talk to Vinny. I'll handle it," Tiffany said. "So Vinny really told you to move in next door with Skeeter?" "Yeah, the nerve of him," Tiffany said feeling the anger creep over her again. She pulled the blanket up around her neck a little closer as she felt a chill in her bedroom. "Vinny is really something else," Starlene said remembering their romantic moments together. "I'm still surprised that he fell for Deanna so fast," she said referring to Tiffany's roommate the stripper. "I hear somebody at the door," Tiffany whispered. "Do you think it's Deanna?" Starlene asked. "Shhh. I want to listen," Tiffany said as she held her hand over the phone. "I'm staying on the phone until you know who's in your apartment," Starlene said. "It's them. I hear Deanna laughing," Tiffany whispered. "Is Vinny with her?" "Yeah, I hear him too. They going in her bedroom," Tiffany said as she heard Deanna's bedroom door open. "Maybe tomorrow morning you should talk to them together," Starlene suggested. "What could I say?" Tiffany whispered. "That you don't want either one of them living there. Tell them to find their own apartment." "How would I pay the rent? I don't have a job yet." "You've got to get a job Tiffany. That would solve the whole problem. Then you can throw them out," Starlene said. "I've been looking. I guess I'll just have to settle for something until I find a good job." "I can get Stanley to give you money for the rent. I've offered this many times Tiffany," Starlene reminded her. "I know. Thanks a lot but I just can't do that." "If you change your mind just let me know. Stanley has plenty of money. I guess he still has plenty unless he's given it all to Jan," she said referring to her worries about the properties her husband had been putting into his daughter's name. "Thanks again." "Sure," Starlene said. "What are they doing now?" "I hear them giggling." "Vinny really is a sweet lover," Starlene said. "Starlene... " Tiffany said hesitating. "What?" "Oh great!" "What?" "Deanna's bed is banging into the wall," Tiffany said her voice a little louder. "Aren't you afraid they'll hear you?" Starlene asked. "No, they're making so much noise you can't hear yourself think," Tiffany said as she glanced at the picture hanging on her adjoining bedroom wall as it shook violently. "Gee, I guess Vinny really does like that stripper," Starlene said. "I'd say," Tiffany said as the banging got louder. "Sounds like she really likes him too." CONTINUED MONDAY.
