Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday February 23rd 2005 "Hurry up and unlock the door Tiffany it's cold out in this hallway," Starlene said as she waited for her sister to unlock the door to her Bleecker Street apartment. "Well, I guess Deanna isn't home," Tiffany said as she opened the door and noticed her stripper roommate's bedroom door was open and the room was empty. Tiffany dropped her overnight bag by the front door and locked the door. "Good, that gives us some time for coffee together," Starlene said taking off her coat and tossing it on the sofa before taking a seat. Tiffany walked into the kitchen. She took out the coffeepot and started making coffee. "There's news in here Tiffany," Starlene called out from the living room. "I'll be there in a minute," Tiffany said. "No, hurry. I don't think you're going to be happy," Starlene said as she placed the hand written note back on the coffee table. "What are you talking about Starlene?" Tiffany asked as she rushed into the living room. "Here's a note from your roommate Deanna," she said handing Tiffany the note. Tiffany took a seat on the sofa beside Starlene and read the note quickly. "Hi Tiffany. I hope you had a good time spending the night with your sister Starlene. Vinny and I talked it over and he went ahead and moved some of his stuff over here in my bedroom. Since he stays here a lot we didn't think it would really make any difference. He says he'll just pay you a few hundred every month if it's a problem. We're gone to Little Italy to see some of his friends. See ya later. Love, Deanna." "Great! That's just great! I can't believe that Vinny just moved his stuff over here after I told them I didn't want that," Tiffany said jumping up from the sofa and walking towards Deanna's bedroom. "Look at this," she called out as Starlene got up from the sofa and walked towards Deanna's bedroom door. "He moved a lot of stuff over here," Tiffany said pointing to Vinny's motorcycle helmet, shoes and men's magazines on the floor. "I wonder if they had enough room in that little closet for his stuff?" Starlene said remembering what it was like to live in the room before she was married. "I don't know," Tiffany said glaring at Vinny's belongings. "Let's see," Starlene said walking into the room and opening the closet door. "Look at that," she said pulling a few of his shirts that were hanging on racks. "Yeah, he really moved in," Tiffany said her voice filled with disgust. "Yes he did Tiffany," Starlene said. "Look I remember seeing him in this shirt," Starlene said remembering her short romance with the Mafia guy. "Get out of his stuff Starlene," Tiffany said. "He wouldn't mind," she said bending down and picking up a book. She opened the book and went through a couple of pages. "What's that?" Tiffany asked. "I think it's his phone book," Starlene said as she thumbed through several pages of the little black book. "Put it down Starlene." "Wow, it looks like his Mafia phone book to me." "Why do you say that?" "Names like Finger Frank and Gunsmoke don't sound exactly like business acquaintances to me," she said raising her eyebrows. "Oh no. Now he'll be having hit men calling this apartment," Tiffany said as she paced the living room floor. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
