Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday February 21st 2005 "Would it be better for you if I just go home tonight?" Starlene asked turning to glance at her sister Tiffany as they sat on the sofa together. "No, stay." "I just wasn't thinking. I should have called you first before just stopping by with my overnight bag," Starlene said glancing at her bag beside the front door of her sister's Bleecker Street apartment. "It's okay. You can sleep on the sofa." "Oh sure. I've slept on the sofa before; it's no big deal. I just didn't know you had all of this going on with Vinny and Deanna," Starlene said shaking her head as she recalled their earlier conversation. "My life is just a nightmare lately. This apartment is driving me crazy," Tiffany said glancing towards Deanna's bedroom. "I have an idea! Why don't we spend the night at my place while Stanley's out of town," Starlene said hitting her legs with her hands in excitement. "I don't know. I have to give Vinny and Deanna an answer today. I have to let them know if I'll let Vinny move into Deanna's bedroom." "Well, you deserve a break. You can call them and tell them what you decide." "I don't know. I don't think I should leave." "Oh come on Tiffany. You stayed in for weeks because you were afraid to leave. You were afraid somebody would find the money in Deanna's bedroom," she reminded her. "Yes, I sure did," Tiffany said in her southern accent. "You're becoming a... a shut in," Starlene said laughing. "Yeah, you're right," Tiffany said grinning. "Then come on. Grab a few things, leave them a note and tell them you'll get back to them with your answer. That buys you a little more time to think it over too," Starlene said. "You're right! That would give me a little more time. I just don't know what to do. I don't want Mafia Vinny living here but I don't want Deanna moving next door and being around Skeeter either. I worry what she'll do when Vinny's gone. You know her! She might just pull up her blouse and show Skeeter her girls or something," Tiffany said unable to hide her jealousy of her ex-husband and lover Skeeter. "You're right. Now, don't worry. Come on. Let's write them a note and go over to Stanley's house... my house," she corrected herself. "I don't know why I didn't think to just ask you to come over to our place first! I guess it's because I lived here with you for so long before I married Stanley. I just never thought about telling you to come spend the night with me," Starlene said as she and Tiffany got up and walked towards Tiffany's bedroom. "What should I bring?" Tiffany asked taking out her overnight bag from the closet. "Do you want to go out or stay in? Our housekeeper is a great cook," Starlene said. "Let's just stay in because I've never spent the night at your place, Tiffany said tossing a nightgown and slippers into her bag. "We'll have fun. Now I'm glad Stanley's going out of town. We'll have a great time Tiffany," Starlene said having not had much time alone with her sister since she married and moved out. "What do you think I should write on the note to Vinny and Deanna?" Tiffany said picking up a pen and pencil from the nightstand in her bedroom. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
