Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday February 18th 2005 Tiffany heard the knock on the front door and thought it might be her next door neighbor Mafia Vinny coming back to argue with her again. "Who is it?" she called out. "Me," her sister said knocking on the door again. Tiffany rushed towards the front door and opened it. "Hi Starlene," she said. "Hi, Stanley is going to Boston tonight so I thought I'd come over and spend the night," she said dropping her overnight bag beside the front door. "I hope that's okay?" she asked as she walked into the living room and Tiffany closed the door. "Oh sure, join the crowd," Tiffany said following her sister to the sofa. "What are you talking about?" "Well, Vinny just came over and talked to me," Tiffany said. "Oh, how's Vinny?" Starlene said feeling warm all over when she thought about her romantic evenings with the Mafia guy before she married Stanley. "He's mean. Vinny is a mean person," Tiffany said bitterly. "No, he's not. Why? What's wrong? You look all upset." "Deanna wants Vinny to move in with her in my apartment," Tiffany said nodding towards the tiny bedroom beside hers. "No," Starlene said. "Yeah." "Why?" "She says that he's so jealous of her he wants to spend every night with her." "Man he really fell for her. I thought Vinny loved me more than that," she said remembering how he said he would wait on her forever. "I guess he's really in love." "It's hard to understand. I mean I really thought Vinny was in love with me. If I hadn't married Stanley I might have married Vinny," Starlene reminisced. "But you didn't and I'm very thankful for that," Tiffany said. "What could Vinny possibly see in Double D Deanna?" "Maybe Vinny falls for women with big ones Starlene," Tiffany said glancing down at her sister's voluptuous bosom in her low cut sweater. "But hers aren't even real." "I don't guess he cares." "Yeah, I know. Well what did you tell him?" "I told him no, of course." "So there that's done," Starlene said. "No, it's not done. He got really nasty with me. He threw it up to me that Deanna pays all the rent here." "Well she does Tiffany." "I know, I know I'm unemployed right now. But then he accused me of taking some of Deanna's money." "He's just upset. He didn't mean it." "Maybe," Tiffany said shaking her head. "Of course he had to tell me how Deanna would be a millionaire if I hadn't called the police about the box of money in her bedroom." "Well, that's true," Starlene said shaking her head in regret. "They can't keep throwing that up to me all the time. I'm sorry it happened. I was worried that something had happened to Deanna. I had no way of knowing her real family had found her and she had inherited money. I had no way of knowing if anyone found out that she'd lose it all," Tiffany said. "I know Tiffany. Well, so you told him no. He'll get over it." "No, he says he'll move Deanna in with him at Skeeter's," she said nodding her head next door towards her ex-husband's apartment where Vinny rented a bedroom. "Skeeter's!" Starlene said shocked. "Yeah, see why I'm worried?" she said knowing Starlene knew Skeeter was a womanizer. "Yeah, there's not one person that can be trusted between the three of them," Starlene said shaking her head.
