Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday February 16th 2005 Tiffany turned down the sound on the TV when she heard the phone ring. "Hello," she answered. "Hi Tiffany," her sister Starlene said as she reclined on the sofa of her Upper East Side mansion. "How did it go with Stanley last night?" Tiffany asked referring to her sister's wealthy older husband that was putting his properties into his daughter Jan's name. "I tried to find out about his estate but I didn't get anywhere Tiffany." "Did he know you went by Jan's house for lunch yesterday?" "Yeah, Jan told him. He was shocked that I wanted to have lunch with her." "Oh well, you tried." "I can't just leave it at that Tiffany. I have to know why Stanley is putting properties into Jan's name instead of mine." "Well, did you ask him?" "No, I'm not supposed to know about it. Remember? I snooped through his papers and found out." "I just don't know Starlene. I don't know what you can do." "I don't either. But this is making me crazy thinking he might leave her all the money." "Then just ask him to see the will or something." "Don't you think he'll think I married him just for money?" "I don't know Starlene," Tiffany said as the front door opened and her stripper roommate Deanna walked in closing the door behind her. Deanna smiled and motioned that she needed to talk to Tiffany as she took off her coat and hung it beside the door. "Well, I won't rest until I get to the bottom of this thing," Starlene said. "I know honey. Well, look Deanna just came home. Can I call you back?" "Sure, bye," she said hanging up the phone. "Hi Tiffany. I'm glad you're off the phone there's something I need to talk to you about," Deanna said taking a seat on the sofa beside her. "What's that?" "Vinny and I are getting along great these days," she said referring to her Mafia boyfriend. "Oh good," Tiffany said hoping Deanna couldn't tell how much she dislikes Vinny. "I want Vinny to move into my bedroom with me," she said nodding her head towards the tiny bedroom beside Tiffany's. "Oh no." "No? Just like that... No!" "I don't think that would work out Deanna. It's much too crowded." "It's my bedroom and my life." "I know, but it's my apartment and I don't think that would work out," Tiffany said. "Tiffany I do pay all of the rent you know," Deanna reminded her. "I know Deanna and I appreciate that." "I pay all the rent and because of you I lost my inheritance," she said. "If you hadn't called the police about the money in my bedroom I wouldn't have to work anymore," she said pouting. "I've apologized to you about that many times Deanna. I feel terrible about it," Tiffany said. "I feel terrible about it too and if I lose Vinny I'll feel even worse," Deanna said as if she were going to cry. "Well, why would you lose Vinny?" "He's jealous of me and wants to be with me every night." "Oh I see." "So it's okay with you if I let him move in?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
