Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday February 4th 2005 Tiffany turned down the sound on the TV program "Biggest Loser" and walked to the door when she heard a knock. She opened the front door to her ex-husband and next door neighbor Skeeter. "Hey Baby," he said grinning broadly when he saw she was only wearing a T-shirt. "Hi Skeeter," she said bitterly. "What's the matter with you Baby? I was hoping we'd have some fun tonight," he said walking in and closing the door behind him. "I bet," she said walking towards the sofa as he followed her. "Where's Deanna?" he asked glancing to the open door to her roommate the stripper's bedroom. "She's dancing tonight," Tiffany said as she took a seat on the sofa. "That's a shame she's got to work again," he said referring to Deanna losing her secret inheritance after Tiffany called the police to investigate the large sum of money in her bedroom. The story made the front page of the newspaper costing Deanna her inheritance which was based on the condition she keep it secret. Now some of the money she had stashed in the bedroom while she was gone is missing too. "Oh yeah. It's a shame for poor Deanna," she said mockingly. "What's the matter with you Tiffany? I guess Deanna is really giving you hell after you messed up her life?" "Oh yeah! She's giving me hell all right. She's acting like I took thousands of dollars from her money in her bedroom," Tiffany said watching him closely for a reaction. "Did you?" he asked calmly. "No. Did you?" "No." "Why not Skeeter?" "Why not? You're asking me why not? Do you wish I had?" "No. I'm just asking. Why wouldn't you?" "Because it's Deanna's money." "I left you in her room alone with the money Skeeter." "But I didn't take any of her money." "Skeeter I told Deanna that you were alone with her money and she flat out said she knew you wouldn't take any of it. But she acted like she suspected everybody else including me," Tiffany said watching his face for clues. "So?" "She let it slip and said she knew that any man she had been intimate with wouldn't take her money." "So?" he asked turning his attention towards the TV and "Biggest Loser". "Well? Well? Were you intimate with her Skeeter?" "No. I've told you that a thousand times Tiffany," he said as his jaw tightened. "I don't think I believe you Skeeter." "Fine. Then you don't believe me. Then who took her money?" "She thinks the police took it." "I bet she's right. She's been around enough to know these kinds of things." "You like it that she's been around?" "Well, it's smarter than calling the cops over a box of money," he said. "So you're inferring that I'm stupid," Tiffany said angrily. "If the shoe fits," he said getting tired of her questioning. "I think you did have an affair with Deanna while I was out of town. I don't think I'm stupid at all. I think you're both guilty. That's what I think," Tiffany said. "Then throw me out and throw her out too Tiffany. That's what you should do if you really believe that," he said as his eyes pierced hers. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
