Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday February 3rd 2005 "What makes you so certain that Skeeter didn't take any of your money?" Tiffany asked referring to her ex-husband and lover. She was shocked at Deanna's last statement that she knew Skeeter would never take her money. "I just know Skeeter. He wouldn't steal my money," Deanna said grinning. "You think that my sister Starlene would take the money but you don't think my husband Skeeter would take the money?" Tiffany asked. "Ex-husband Tiffany. Skeeter is your ex-husband." "Okay, ex-husband. So what does that have to do with this?" "He's a nice guy," Deanna said smiling. "Skeeter?" "Yes. Your ex-husband Skeeter is a nice guy and I don't think he would take my money. Does that bother you that I think he's nice?" Deanna asked frowning. "No. It just seems strange you would trust him more than you trust my sister Starlene." "Look Tiffany. I've been brought up in foster homes and I dance for a living. The other dancers have stolen money and men from me many times. Men give me money they don't take it from me," Deanna said with an air of experience. "Yeah, I guess so," Tiffany said still unconvinced that Deanna hadn't had an affair with Skeeter while she was out of town. "Who else knew about the box of money?" "Vinny knew," Tiffany said referring to Deanna's Mafia lover and Skeeter's roommate. "Once again that doesn't cut it with me," Deanna said shaking her head. "Well the only other people that knew were the police," Tiffany said throwing up her hands as if it were hopeless to go on. "Uuh! That's it! Did you let them in my room?" "Well, yeah. They wanted to look for clues," Tiffany said. "Did you at least watch them while they looked for clues Tiffany?" Deanna asked shaking her head as if Tiffany were three years old. "No. I made them coffee," Tiffany said as her face reddened. "They wouldn't take your money Deanna. They're the police!" "Oh yeah. They're the police! Of course they aren't human!" she screamed. "They are sworn to the law," Tiffany said shaking her head. "Oh gee. I can really see the country in you sometimes Tiffany. You aren't worldly at all, are you?" Deanna said looking at her with pity. "I don't think the police would take your money Deanna," Tiffany said pushing her shoulders back and trying to look more confident. "Tiffany do you know how many cops come in the club where I dance?" "No," Tiffany said. "Lots of them. They're red-blooded American men Tiffany. They like women, booze and money." "I thought you said you didn't think men would take the money?" "Not men that I've known intimately," Deanna said. "Intimately! You mean you've been intimate with my husband Skeeter?" Tiffany said. "I mean men that I know. You know what I mean," Deanna said hesitating. "No, I don't. Have you been intimate with Skeeter?" "Your idea of intimate and mine are probably different. Remember I dance for a living. I was going to be a rich woman but now I'll always have to dance for a living," Deanna said shaking her head and looking depressed all over again. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
