Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday January 17th 2005 Tiffany rushed towards the door to Deanna's bedroom. She watched as Mafia Vinny pushed open the door and walked into his missing lovers empty room. "Vinny this isn't right! You can't snoop around in Deanna's bedroom while she's gone," Tiffany said. She realized the Bourbon she had with Vinny was going straight to her head. She had hoped the drinks would calm him down and he'd go home, but instead he had insisted she drink with him. "Look Tiffany, Deanna's my woman. She's missing. I have to know what's happened to her," he said as he opened the door to Deanna's closet. "Please don't Vinny. She trusts me and it's not right for you to be in here when she's not home," Tiffany said eyeing his muscular arms and realizing it was hopeless. "Look Tiffany I've spent a few nights in here with her. There ain't nothing wrong with me doing this," he said in his thick Brooklyn accent as he pushed long sequined gowns around on the rack. "Man look at these dresses here. I never did see her wear these things," he said taking one out and holding it up. "I didn't either," Tiffany said eyeing the sequined gown. "I guess she wears this stuff at the club. You know I tried to get her to quit work. I told her I'd take care of her," he said as he hung the dress back in the closet. Tiffany's eyes glanced up at the box in the top of the closet filled with money. She wondered if there was anyway to get Vinny out of the room before he took the box down. "Are you hungry Vinny?" "Nope. I'm trying to reduce some. The pasta in Little Italy is way too good. You like Italian food?" he asked. "Yeah! Want to go to Little Italy and have some Italian food?" "No. Thanks for the invitation. I'll take you down there one night and you can meet some of the family if you're interested," he said referring to his Mafia friends. "Oh that's okay," she said wondering if there was anyway she could stop him from searching the closet. "Look at all the shoes Deanna's got here," he said opening boxes of Gucci shoes. "I wonder where she gets these knock-offs. They look like the real thing." "Humm," Tiffany said as she watched. "Want to watch some TV or a movie?" she asked. "You're lonely ain't you Tiffany?" "Yeah. Why don't we watch a movie." "I ain't never seen you this way. Skeeter hadn't been coming over enough for you?" he said grinning as he referred to her ex-husband. "He comes over." "You mess around on him?" he asked as he opened the last shoebox. "No." "Oh, I thought you were going to come on to me there," he said winking as he grinned at her. "No Vinny. It's just that you're here now, we could be doing something better than snooping around in my roommate's closet." "It's my occupation you know. I get to the bottom of things. I get the answers I want one way or the other," he said reaching for the box full of money. "Don't open that! It's mine!" Tiffany blurted out as she rushed towards him as his fingers lifted the top on the box of money. "This is yours huh? I can see why you didn't want me in here Tiffany. I can see why you ain't in a hurry to go back to work either," he said smiling broadly as he thumbed through the money quickly. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
