Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday January 13th 2005 Tiffany watched as her missing roommate Deanna's Mafia boyfriend Vinny got up from the sofa and started towards Deanna's bedroom. She didn't want him to find the large box of cash in the top of Deanna's closet. "Where are you going Vinny?" Tiffany asked. "Maybe I'll look around in her room," he said. "No! Don't do that," Tiffany said getting up from her chair and walking towards him. "Why not?" "Because! Because it's not right." "I tell you what ain't right... her walking out and leaving me like this," he said. "Come on Vinny. I'll make you a drink. I can tell you're upset and need to talk," she said patting him on the shoulder. "Gee Tiffany. You ain't never been nice to me before. I didn't know you cared if I was upset," he said in his thick Brooklyn accent. "Come on Vinny. Make yourself comfortable," she said as he walked back to the sofa. "Put your feet up on the coffee table," she said moving several magazines. "Thanks there Tiffany," he said pleased with her response. "I'll get you a drink," she said walking to the kitchen and taking out a bottle of Bourbon that her ex-husband Skeeter had left there. "I hope Bourbon is okay?" she called out from the kitchen. "That's great. I never liked it much till I moved in with Skeeter. He's got me hooked on it now," he said leaning back on the sofa. "Here you go," she said as she walked into the living room and handed him the glass. "I can't drink alone Tiffany. Where's yours?" he asked. "I don't care for one." "Oh no! I don't wanna drink unless you join me," he insisted. "Okay. Just a minute," she said getting up and walking back in the kitchen mixing herself a weak drink. "Bring the bottle Tiffany. This one needs a little spiking up," he said after taking a sip of his drink. "Okay. Now we're set," she said as she walked into the living room. She placed the bottle of Bourbon on the coffee table and her drink beside it. "Cheers," he said motioning for her to pick up her drink. She picked up her glass and took a small sip. "You ain't got nothing in that glass Tiffany," he said reaching for the bottle of Bourbon. "Oh it's great," she said placing the glass on the table. "No it ain't either. It ain't got no color," he said pouring Bourbon into her glass. "Now drink up," he said motioning for her to pick up her glass. "Oh my. That's strong Vinny," she said choking as she swallowed the Bourbon. "That's a drink. If you're going to drink, then drink," he said pouring himself more Bourbon. "I guess," she said feeling warm all over. "This is real nice of you Tiffany. I never thought you liked me much. I'm happy to see you consider me your friend." "Sure Vinny," she said wishing he'd leave. "You seem to be enjoying the life of leisure these days. I guess you quit looking for work." "No, I'm still looking," she said. "It's been a long time now. I know Skeeter ain't helping you out. Is Starlene helping you pay the rent?" he asked referring to her sister. "No, of course not. She's married now." "You're all dressed with make up on. You don't look like you're suffering much," he said leaning back on the sofa and watching her closely. "What are you implying Vinny?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
