Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday January 10th 2005 "What do you think I should do about Stanley? There's got to be something going on. Why else would he buy a townhouse in Georgetown and go there without me?" Starlene said referring to her wealthy new husband. She watched her sister walk into the living room with two cups of coffee. "I don't know Starlene. What did he say when he called last night?" Tiffany asked as she took a seat on the sofa beside Starlene. "He just said something had come up and he flew to D.C. He said he thought I might want to spend the night with you since he wouldn't be home." "I'm glad that happened too. I've missed you since you got married and moved out." "Yeah, I enjoyed staying last night too. But what could he be up to?" "Well have you snooped around at home any?" "No, not lately. I went through everything the first week I moved in," she admitted. "Then maybe it's time you snoop again." "You don't think a man would cheat on his wife this soon after his wedding do you?" Starlene asked clearly worried. "Well, Skeeter probably did. I mean looking back on it, I think he did. I was suspicious of him with my best friend Brenda. I thought surely he wouldn't be having an affair with my friend right after we got married." "But now we know he probably did," Starlene said before taking a sip of her coffee. "I can't believe I'm back with Skeeter after all of that. I wonder if he's cheating again. I would love to know what went on between Deanna and him while I was out of town," she said referring to her roommate. "Yeah, me too." "What do you think they did Starlene?" "At the very least I think she showed him her 'girls'. I mean she's shown them to everybody else we know," Starlene said referring to Tiffany's roommate the stripper. "What am I going to do about her?" "I don't know. I mean she's generous to you. She's willing to pay all the rent. You can just live here and not work. That's a great position to be in," Starlene said speaking from years of free loading experience. "Yeah, but where did all that money come from Starlene?" Tiffany said referring to the box in the top of Deanna's closet filled with money. "I don't know. Maybe we should look through her room again for some clues," Starlene said. "No, we've already done that," Tiffany said. "Come on, let's look at the money again Tiffany," Starlene said getting up from the sofa and walking towards the bedroom. "I don't want to bother with that money. It just makes me nervous," Tiffany said turning around on the sofa to watch Starlene open the bedroom door. "Well, money has never made me nervous. It makes me happy," Starlene said taking down the box of money and sitting on the edge of the bed before opening the box. "Remember don't get your fingerprints on it," Tiffany said getting up and taking the empty coffee cups into the kitchen. "Maybe she robbed a bank Tiffany. Maybe she'll never come back. This is the most money I've ever seen in my life," Starlene said as she put the top on the box and put it back in the top of the closet. "Come on Starlene. Get out of Deanna's room," Tiffany said walking back into the living room. "You know maybe she's a call girl and she found herself a rich Sugar Daddy," Starlene said as she walked into the living room and picked up her coat. "Then you think that's why she's missing? She's off with her Sugar Daddy?" Tiffany asked. "Yeap. I'd sure be lovie-dovie with a Sugar Daddy like that," Starlene said. "You're going home?" Tiffany asked as she watched her put on the coat. "Yeap. I'm going to snoop. What are you going to do about Deanna?" "Make up my mind whether to call the police or not," Tiffany said. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
