Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday November 19th 2004 "I said who's there?" Vinny called out loudly as he walked towards the front door of the apartment dressed only in his underwear. He glanced back at the sofa where Starlene was seated watching him. When there wasn't an answer he yanked the door open. "Stanley!" he said as Starlene jumped up from the sofa. "Stanley what are you doing here?" Starlene asked as she rushed towards her husband at the front door. "You had your cell phone off. I called Tiffany's cell phone to tell her that I might have a job lead for her," he said looking down at Vinny's masculine legs as he stood in the doorway in his underwear. "Oh. I came over right after you left for the office this morning," she said rushing towards her older husband and kissing him on the cheek. "Tiffany told me you were here, but she couldn't talk because she was in somebody's office interviewing for a job," Stanley said noticing the lipstick on Vinny's cheek matched Starlene's lips. "Yeah. You know Tiffany's got a new roommate. The one I was telling you about," Starlene said referring to their conversation last night. "Yes I remember. So what does that have to do with you coming over here and why is he here?" Stanley asked glaring at Vinny. "I don't like the way you put that," Vinny said as his muscular jaw clenched. "He didn't mean anything Vinny. Did you Stanley?" she said. "I can speak for myself Starlene," Stanley said. "So then let it out. What's on your mind. What are you trying to insinuate here?" Vinny said stepping closer to the older man. "I don't like the way this looks. You're with my wife," Stanley said. "She came over here to watch the apartment for her sister. I was here. Are you that insecure?" Vinny asked. "I am when I see her lipstick all over your face," Stanley said. "Oh I can explain that," Starlene said. "I think it might be better if you did your explaining at home Starlene," Stanley said turning to leave. "Okay honey," Starlene said rushing towards the sofa to get her purse. "You don't have to take that from him," Vinny said. "He's my husband Vinny," Starlene said noticing that Stanley had walked out into the hallway and was rushing down the stairs. "I think he's leaving you. Why don't you just stay here?" "No. I can't," she said rushing towards the window to look down at the curb. "He's got his limo waiting," she said racing back towards the door. "He's haughty with you Starlene. I don't like that old man treatin' you that way," Vinny said grabbing her by the arm as Tiffany walked in the door. "What's going on here?" Tiffany asked. "Oh I have to leave Tiffany. Stanley came by and I was here alone with Vinny," she said. "I saw Stanley getting into his limo. I think he's leaving you here," Tiffany said. "He wouldn't do that," Starlene said rushing back towards the window. "Well, I guess he did," she said as her voice trailed off in disappointment. "Vinny you aren't dressed and you have lipstick all over your face. Please tell me that Deanna did that," Tiffany said. "No, it was Starlene," he said as Starlene dropped her purse on the floor and took a seat on the sofa. "Starlene. Are you crazy?" Tiffany said. "Looks like it," she said. "This ain't the worse thing that could happen honey. Honestly. Like I told you Starlene, I'm here for you," Vinny said taking a seat on the sofa beside her as tears rolled down her cheeks.
