Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday November 16th 2004 Vinny rushed to put on his underwear. He quickly walked towards the door of Deanna's bedroom. He and Deanna had been in bed talking when they heard the floor creak outside in the living room. Starlene tiptoed quickly back towards the sofa. She didn't want Vinny and Deanna to know she had been eavesdropping on their pillow talk. Vinny flung open the bedroom door and walked out with his muscular jaw clenched. "Starlene!" he whispered when he saw her rushing towards the sofa. "Hi Vinny," she said smiling sweetly. "It's okay. It's just Tiffany's sister Starlene," Vinny called out to Deanna as he closed the bedroom door and walked into the living room. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "I think I should ask you that Vinny?" she said glancing down at his underwear. "Oh. I was just…" he stuttered. "Oh forget it Vinny. I know you were in the bedroom with Deanna and that you spent the night," she said taking a seat on the sofa. "Yeah. I guess that is what it looks like," he said standing in front of the sofa looking at her. "Well, it's okay. You have a right, I guess," she said. "Yeah, you did go and marry that old man," he said referring to her recent marriage to the wealthy Stanley Morgan. "You told me you would be waiting for me if it didn't work out. You don't wait long Vinny. You said that only about two days ago," she said pouting. "I know. I know. This kinda just happened. I wasn't ever expecting somebody like Deanna to move in here," he said referring to her sister's roommate that works as a topless dancer. "Yeah, neither was Tiffany." The bedroom door opened and Deanna walked out dressed in jeans and carrying a satin bag with the words "Double D Deanna" stitched on the side in bold pink letters. "Deanna I was just here to see Tiffany but she had to go out for a job interview," Starlene said feeling awkward about being in her sister's apartment. "Oh that's okay. I just remembered I have to get to the club early today. We're rehearsing a new number," she said referring to her job as a dancer. "You're leaving just like that?" Vinny asked. "I'll be back Vinny. I know where you live," Deanna said nodding towards the apartment next door. She walked to the front door and opened it and then turned to look at Vinny and Starlene. "Besides I know the two of you probably need to talk. I'll see you later," she said closing the door behind her. "Man. I never expected so much to happen this morning," Vinny said shaking his head. "So you like Deanna?" Starlene asked hoping her jealousy wouldn't show. "She's a nice girl," he said taking a seat on the sofa next to her. "Nice girl? That's a nice girl?" "You know what I mean," he said. "No I don't know what you mean Vinny. I really don't," Starlene said shaking her head. "Look honey if you'd leave that old man I'd still be here for you," Vinny said. "Would you really Vinny?" "Yeah, why? Are you unhappy with him?" he asked hopefully. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
