Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday November 15th 2004 Tiffany had just talked to her sister Starlene on the phone a few minutes ago and she was expecting her sister to come by her apartment in Greenwich Village. When she heard a faint knock on the front door, she quickly rushed towards the door to open it. "Hi Tiffany," Starlene said in a whisper. "Hi come on in," Tiffany said quietly holding the door open. "Is Vinny still in the bedroom with Deanna?" Starlene asked. "Yeah, they haven't gotten up yet. Thanks for coming over. I didn't want to go to my job interview and leave them alone in the apartment. I just don't trust Deanna," Tiffany said picking up her purse from the end table. "No, problem. I hope you get the job," Starlene said. "I don't have a lot of hope. I just called this place early this morning and they said if I was interested I better come in right away." "Well, maybe it will be a good job," Starlene said. "If it's good enough then I'll ask Deanna to leave," Tiffany said nodding her head towards Starlene's former bedroom. "Good luck," Starlene said as Tiffany walked out of the front door. Starlene gently closed the door and walked towards the sofa and took a seat. She picked up a magazine from the coffee table and started turning the pages when she heard voices from her former bedroom. She tiptoed around the sofa and got closer to the bedroom door so she could eavesdrop. "Did you hear the front door?" Deanna asked. "Yeah, I guess Tiffany went out," Vinny said in his thick Brooklyn accent. "What do you want to do today?" Deanna asked. "Oh I just want to spend all my time with you honey." "I have to work tonight," she said. "You're dancing?" "Yeah." "In that topless club?" "Yeah." "I don't want no girlfriend of mine dancing in a club like that," he said. "It's a nice club Vinny." "But you take off your top. I know that men must love all that," he said referring to her large implants. "It's just a job and these girls aren't real Vinny." "They're real to me." "Don't get too serious Vinny." "Why? You aren't in love with Skeeter are you," he asked referring to Tiffany's ex-husband and lover. "Skeeter? Why do you ask?" "I saw you that day when I knocked on the door. You had taken a shower over here after he interviewed you to roommate with Tiffany. He told me you had danced for him. Tiffany was in Georgia, you two spent a lot of time over here alone." "So. I danced for him and then I took a shower before I went to work." "He kinda let me believe that maybe you two did it." "Oh he did huh?" she said laughing. "Yeah. I asked him if it was okay for me to ask you out before I came over last night and knocked on the door." "What did Skeeter say." "He said to go for it." "So you did and we did," she said giggling. "But I don't want you going for it with anybody else now. I want you to be my girl," Vinny said. Starlene started to tiptoe closer to the bedroom door when the hardwood floor creaked. "Did you hear something?" Deanna asked in a whisper. "Yeah, I'll check. Don't worry honey. I ain't scared of nothing," he said getting out of the bed and walking towards the door. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
