Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday November 4th 2004 "Hi Skeeter," Deanna said when she saw Starlene talking with him as he stood in the hallway. "Hi there Deanna," he said grinning. "Starlene and I were just getting ready to have a glass of wine. Would you like one?" she offered. "Well, I don't know," he said eyeing Starlene and wondering if this would get back to his ex-wife and lover Tiffany. "It's up to you big boy," Deanna said grinning as she took a seat on the sofa. "I better not," he said. "What did you need Skeeter?" Starlene asked. "I just came over to see if Tiffany was home," he said. "Why didn't you call her?" Starlene asked suspicious that he wanted time alone with the new roommate Deanna. "I heard somebody come to the door and I thought it was Tiffany," he said nodding towards his apartment next door. "Oh come on in Skeeter. I don't think Tiffany would mind. Do you Starlene?" Deanna said. "No, I guess not," Starlene said as Skeeter walked inside the apartment and she closed the door. "So where is Tiffany?" Skeeter asked as he followed Starlene into the living room. "She had to meet a friend uptown," Starlene said repeating the lie she had told Deanna. "Tiffany doesn't have any friends uptown," Skeeter said as Deanna glanced towards Starlene. "I don't know Skeeter. I just came over to look for something," she said annoyed that he had blown her cover. "She was looking for her electric mixer. She's going to bake a cake for her new husband," Deanna said. "You bake a cake?" Skeeter said laughing. "Yes Skeeter. I can cook," she lied. "Okay," he said realizing that Starlene had been lying to Deanna for some reason. "I better get back to my place. I've got to do the books tonight," he said referring to his lingerie store. "Oh. I'm sorry you have to leave Skeeter," Deanna said. "Another time maybe. Besides you two girls can use this time to get to know each other," he said walking quickly towards the front door. "Good to see you Skeeter," Deanna said waving. "You too. Starlene, tell your sister to call me when she gets home. Okay?" he said opening the door and walking out into the hallway. "Sure," she said as he closed the door. "I wish he could have stayed with us," Deanna said as she watched Starlene walking towards the sofa. "You like Skeeter?" Starlene asked as she took a seat on the sofa beside Deanna. "Oh yeah. He's a great guy." "He can be a flirt sometimes," Starlene said as Deanna handed her a glass of wine. "I know. All men flirt with me," she said grinning. She held up her glass to toast as Starlene lifted her glass. "To new girlfriends. Men come and go... hopefully girlfriends last," she said as they touched glasses. "So tell me about yourself," Starlene asked hoping to seem casual as she took a sip of her wine. "I think Tiffany really sent you over here tonight to find out what kind of dancing I do. Isn't that it?" she asked knowingly as she placed her wine glass on the coffee table. "Well, yeah. I confess. We do want to know," Starlene said taking another sip of wine. "Look at these," Deanna said quickly lifting her shirt over her bare DD bosom. "What kind of dancing do you think I do with these girls?" she said laughing as Starlene choked on her wine. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
