Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday November 3rd 2004 Starlene knocked on the front door of her sister Tiffany's apartment. "Who is it?" Deanna called out as she walked through the living room towards the front door. "It's Starlene." "Tiffany's sister?" Deanna called out. "Yeah," Starlene said as Deanna opened the door. "Where's Tiffany?" Deanna asked smiling as she held the door open for Starlene. "Oh she had to meet a friend uptown. I just wanted to come by and pick up some things I left in the kitchen," she lied. "Oh sure," she said as Starlene walked in and Deanna closed the door. "Are you busy?" Starlene asked noticing she was wearing only a long T-shirt that was stretched to cover her ample bosom. "No. I was looking through my books for school," she said as she followed Starlene into the kitchen. "School? You're going to school?" Starlene asked pretending not to know. "Didn't Tiffany tell you? Yes, I enrolled in a few classes at NYU." "That's nice. What are you going to study to be?" Starlene asked opening a cabinet and pretending to search for something. "I'm not sure yet. I thought I would get started with a few courses and then see what happens. Who knows I might not be able to afford to get a degree or something." "So you're a dancer?" Starlene said as she pushed aside a few cans of tuna pretending to search through the cabinets. "Yeah. Just for the money." "Is the money good?" Starlene asked. "The money is excellent," she said. "What are you looking for? Maybe I can help you," Deanna said. "Oh. I... I was looking for my electric mixer," she lied. "You just got married. I bet you want to show off for your new husband and bake him cakes and stuff," Deanna said smiling. "Yeah. Cakes," she said as Deanna opened the last cabinet and looked inside. "I don't see it here," Deanna said. "Maybe I already packed it and forgot." "Well, while you're here let's enjoy getting to know each other," Deanna said. "I have a nice bottle of wine. Do you have time for a glass?" "Yeah. That would be nice," Starlene said feeling smart that everything was falling right into place. "Go into the living room and make yourself comfortable. I'll bring you a glass of wine," she said waving her hand at Starlene. Starlene walked towards the living room when she heard a knock on the front door. "Are you expecting anyone?" she called out. "No, not me," Deanna said as she took the corkscrew from the drawer. "I'll get it," Starlene said walking to the front door. She opened the door and was surprised to see her ex-brother-in-law Skeeter standing in the hallway. "Starlene what are you doing here?" he asked equally surprised by her presence. "I think I should ask you that Skeeter. You know that Tiffany and I were having dinner tonight and that Deanna was here alone. What are you up to Skeeter?" she asked grinning as Deanna walked into the living room in her sheer T-shirt carrying two glasses of wine. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
