Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday November 1st 2004 "Just tell Deanna to leave if you don't like her Tiffany. I rented the bedroom for you while you were gone so you wouldn't have to worry about the rent. This is what I get?" Skeeter said glaring at his ex-wife. "Shhhh! She'll hear you Skeeter. I'll handle this," she said walking towards the front door as she heard Deanna talking to someone outside in the hallway. She opened the door and saw Deanna and Vinny standing near the front door. "Oh hi Tiffany. Sorry to bother you, but I walked out and forgot my keys," she said smiling. "Oh sure," Tiffany said holding the door open for her new roommate to come inside. "It was nice talking with Vinny," Deanna said smiling broadly as she stepped into Tiffany's living room. "You too Deanna," Vinny said eyeing Deanna's very ample bosom before Tiffany closed the door. "I'm sorry to interrupt you and Skeeter," Deanna said walking into the living room. "That's okay we were just talking," Skeeter said. "Actually I got a call on my cell phone as soon as I got downstairs and the NYU professor had to cancel out on our lunch," Deanna said. "Oh that's too bad," Tiffany said taking a seat on the sofa beside Skeeter. "Who is this professor?" Skeeter asked hoping his jealousy wouldn't show. "I met him when I registered to take classes," she said. "So you're seriously going to become a student at NYU?" Tiffany asked. "Oh yeah. I don't want to dance the rest of my life." "You don't like dancing?" Tiffany asked. "It's okay Tiffany. I was brought up in foster homes and I don't have anyone to fall back on," she said. "I'm sorry," Tiffany said feeling guilty for not liking her. "Oh it's okay. I've just had to make my own way. Men have a lot more advantages in the world than women you know," she said winking at Tiffany. "Yeah, they sure do," Tiffany said. "I hope the two of us can become good friends. I'd like to take you out to dinner tonight," she said smiling warmly at Tiffany. "Oh I don't know," Tiffany said. "My treat," Deanna said. "But my sister Starlene is meeting me for dinner," she lied glancing towards Skeeter hoping he wouldn't blow her cover. "Oh then I totally understand girlfriend. Maybe some other time?" Deanna said as she started towards the bedroom she had just rented. "Sure. That would be nice." "Well, I'll use my time to unpack some more and get ready for school," she said. "The two of you enjoy your evening," Deanna said as she closed the door to the bedroom. "Why didn't you go out to dinner with her Tiffany?" Skeeter whispered. "I don't know what to say to a woman like her," Tiffany said. "She doesn't seem all that bad to me." "But Skeeter I think she's a stripper," Tiffany whispered. "So, if she is, does that mean she can't be a nice person anyway," he said. "Is she a stripper? Did she say she was when you interviewed her for the apartment?" CONTINUED TOMORROW.
