Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday October 15th 2004 "This is it," Skeeter said as he put the key into the door of Tiffany's apartment and pushed it open. "And where did you say you live?" the pretty young woman asked. "I live right over there," he said nodding towards the apartment next door to his ex-wife Tiffany's. "So you're looking for a roommate for your friend while she's out of town?" the girl said as they walked into the apartment. "Yeah. Well she's actually my ex-wife," he said grinning. "Really? You live right next door to your ex-wife and she is letting you show her apartment while she's gone?" "Yeah," he said watching her take off her coat. He glanced at the tight jeans she was wearing and her shapely young hips. She turned around to look at him and his eyes feasted on her extremely well-endowed bosom in the low-cut sweater. "So the two of you must be really good friends?" she said eyeing him closely. "I'm just doing this as a favor to her. It's not a big deal. I mean I own the store downstairs so why not?" he said referring to the lingerie store where she had found the "roommate wanted" ad posted in the window. "You own "Next to Nothing?" she asked noticing his masculine build. "Yeah, it's my shop," he said pushing his shoulders back. "Do you own the building too?" "Not yet. I'm working on it though." "Oh. I like an aggressive man," she said smiling broadly. "What about you? What kind of work do you do?" he asked as he followed her through the apartment. "I'm a dancer," she said pushing the door open to Tiffany's bedroom and looking around the room. "A dancer. Ballet or what?" "All kinds. I dance wherever the money is," she said turning to look at him. "You like dance?" she asked as she walked past him purposely brushing her bosom against his arm as she passed. "Yeah. I love dance," he said following her towards Starlene's former bedroom where she pushed open the door and walked inside. "This is the room that is for rent," he said as she took a seat on the bed and glanced around the room. "It's a little small," she said. "Yeah, but the location is great. I mean here we are on Bleecker Street with all the great clubs and we're only a couple of blocks from Washington Square Park." "You're right. Do you party at the clubs?" "I used to but then I opened the store and now I stay really busy downstairs," he said not wanting to tell her that he and Tiffany were lovers. "So what is it like living and working right in the same building with your ex-wife?" she asked. "Oh it's alright. She doesn't bother me and I don't bother her," he lied. "Is your apartment like this one?" "Yeah. It's pretty much the same." "Maybe you'd like to rent your extra bedroom to me," she said grinning. "I would but I let a friend move in," he said regretting that Mafia Vinny was staying with him. "Oh well, I guess I could rent this room and maybe you'll invite me over one day?" "Of course I will," he said watching as she leaned back on the bed and smiled. "Maybe you'll dance for me too," he asked watching her closely. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
