Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday October 12th 2004 "Morning Baby," Skeeter said as he kissed his ex-wife Tiffany on the cheek. "Come on in Skeeter," she said as she held the front door to her apartment open for him to come inside. "How was Starlene last night?" he asked. "She's happy. She's really happy to finally be married to Stanley." "I hope she doesn't wear that old man out," Skeeter said grinning as he took a seat on the sofa. "That's exactly what I said. Stanley is getting on up there," Tiffany said thinking about the huge age difference. "Well, when he passes on she'll be fixed for life," Skeeter said thinking about Stanley's money. "Skeeter don't you think about other things," she said annoyed. "Yeah. Like we could go in there," he said nodding towards her bedroom. "No, I have to get busy looking for a job and a roommate." "Why don't you just let me put an ad in the window of my lingerie store downstairs." "Yeah. I decided that is a good idea." "Good, just write it out and give it to me," he said. "Here, I wrote it last night," she said handing him a piece of paper from the end table with the advertisement for a roommate. "Okay, Baby. I'll put this up in the window today. Don't worry you'll have a roommate in no time." "Thanks Skeeter," she said. "No problem. Look, I'm going to work. You have a good day and don't worry," he said getting up to leave. "Thanks for all your help Skeeter," she said walking him to the door. She opened the door and he walked out into the hallway. "Want me to screen the applicants. You know like... if they're creepy I could tell them the room is taken?" "Yeah. I guess that's a good idea," she said as he kissed her on the cheek and walked out into the hallway to leave. She watched him walk down the stairs and she closed the door. She walked back to her sofa as the phone rang. "Hello," she answered as she took a seat on the sofa. "Tiffany, how you doing?" Vinny asked. "I'm fine Vinny," she said. "Is Starlene there?" "No. I thought you heard the news. Starlene married Stanley in Las Vegas," she said. "Yeah. I heard. I thought maybe she had come over there to pick up some stuff," he said. "No, she was here last night." "So she's already got everything from your place?" "No, she didn't take everything. Vinny you aren't going to cause her any problems, are you?" "No, why would you say something like that?" he asked in his thick Brooklyn accent. "I heard that you had some men in Vegas come to their hotel to stop them from getting married, but it was too late." "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do," he said. "Vinny. Please let her be. She's so happy now," Tiffany said. "We'll see how long that lasts." CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
