Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday October 11th 2004 "Starlene I'm so happy for you," Tiffany said as the two sisters sat on the sofa. They were looking at the pictures that were taken in Las Vegas when Starlene and Stanley got married. "Yeah, I wanted a big wedding, but what the heck," she said as she handed Tiffany another picture. "You didn't get to wear a long gown either," Tiffany said looking at the picture of Starlene in a mini-skirt and a tight, low-cut sweater. "No, that's okay. I guess I kinda did the long wedding gown thing that day with Vinny." She thought about the day a few weeks ago when she had eloped to City Hall with Mafia Vinny and almost married him. "Yeah, that was almost a disaster," Tiffany said. "I wonder how Vinny knew that Stanley and I were in Vegas?" "I'm sure Skeeter told him. I've asked Skeeter a thousand times and he just denies it," Tiffany said. "I'm glad Skeeter left and went home tonight so we can talk. I'm sorry that you lost your job Tiffany." "Me too. Although it's been hell around there since Clark caught Nicole with the car salesman." "So Clark said he was going to Connecticut to stay with his parents for a while and then decide what to do about his business?" "Yeah. He said I could apply for unemployment. That just won't cover the rent though. I'll miss you and I'll miss the checks Stanley was giving you to help with the rent," Tiffany said. "I could just get Stanley to give me the checks anyway." "No. Thanks anyway. You're married now and I'll just have to figure something out," Tiffany said. "You know Skeeter's idea of posting an ad in the window of his lingerie store downstairs is really a good idea Tiffany." "You think so?" "Sure. Think about how many women come into the store. You'd have a roommate in no time." "Well, I guess I'll give it a try. At least the ad is free." "That's right. Well, look at the time," Starlene said glancing down at her watch. "I better get home," she said smiling. "Home. Home to your new husband," Tiffany said smiling. "Yeap," she said picking up her cell phone and hitting speed dial. "Driver, this is Mrs. Morgan, I'm ready to leave," Starlene said in a very business like manner then hung up the phone. "You called a car?" "I have my own driver now!" "Wow. It must be nice," Tiffany said watching Starlene as she picked up her overnight bag beside the sofa. "Finally. It's taken me a lot of years to capture Stanley. I'm going to enjoy all of the benefits." "How is Stanley?" "He's tired. I guess the trip, the wedding and the Mafia guys wore him out," she said grinning. "You sure it wasn't you that wore him out Starlene?" "No, that didn't happen yet. He was too tired." "Oh boy," Tiffany said shaking her head. "He forgot to pack his pills too." "I see," Tiffany said not wanting to discuss the matter any further. "That's okay, I picked up a big supply when we got back into town. Stanley better get used to having a young wife," she said turning to leave. "Don't wear him out too quick Starlene," Tiffany said knowingly. "I won't," she said smiling as she turned to look at her sister. "When are you going to start interviewing roommate candidates?" "Tomorrow, I guess," Tiffany said. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
