Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday September 23rd 2004 "Here you go honey," Vinny said walking into the living room with two bagels on a plate. "I got these delivered this morning, fresh," he said taking a seat on the sofa beside Starlene. "They look good Vinny," she said taking a bagel from the plate and taking a small bite. "I want to have breakfast with you every morning for the rest of my life Starlene," he said admiring her voluptuous bosom in the low cut sweater she was wearing. "Vinny I just came over so that we could talk," she said picking up the cup of coffee he had on the table for her. She took a sip and placed the cardboard cup back on the coffee table. "I know. So what seems to be the problem here?" he asked as if he didn't have any idea how he might have made her angry. "Vinny the other day when I came home from Atlantic City with Stanley you were waiting on the sidewalk," she said remembering the scene in front of the apartment building. "I didn't say nothing. Now did I?" he asked in his thick Brooklyn accent. "No, you didn't say anything Vinny. But you did stand there with your arms folded and watched as the driver took my overnight bag from Stanley's limo." "Yeah, there ain't no law against that either. Now is there?" "No, but you have to admit it was threatening." "I don't see why that would be threatening." "Vinny you worked for the Mafia and you're a big guy," she said grabbing his arm and pushing on the hard muscles. "I can't help my arms being big, and I don't see why my connections with certain people just keeps getting brought up." "It scares people Vinny." "Like who?" "It scares my sister. You talked to her and scared her to death." "I'm sorry. What can I do to make that up to her?" "Don't scare her Vinny. She's afraid you'll kill her and me both if things don't work out for us," Starlene said in her slow southern accent. "Oh no. She don't think that does she?" "Yeah." "Well, then I'm going over there right now and get this straight," he said starting to get up from the sofa. "No, just wait. We have to finish talking," she said grabbing his arm. "Okay honey. Whatever it is you want. I'll do anything you want Starlene. You and Tiffany never have to worry about me hurting you. I just come across kinda rough when I'm upset. I never meant to scare her," he said wondering if he really meant what he said. "Okay. I'll tell her. But then there's the thing with Stanley. You scare him too," she said referring to her older lover. "Now that's different. You can't expect me to care about him." "No, but you shouldn't scare him." "He ain't man enough for you Starlene," he said eyeing her voluptuous bosom. "How would you know that Vinny?" "Cause I do." "We've never done anything. How would you know," she said referring to intimacy. "You give me a chance and you'll see," he said scooting a little closer to her on the sofa. "I came over here to talk Vinny." "And we're talking. But Stanley he's done dumped you again. Now ain't that right?" He was sure because he'd used his persuasive powers to convince the older man that Starlene had been intimate with him and that she was lying. "Yes. He has told me it's not working," she admitted. "I'm telling you again, I want you Starlene. I want you to be my wife. I want to give you everything you ever want and more. I love you Starlene," he said taking her into his arms. "Don't be scared of real love honey. I'm more of a man than Stanley Morgan could ever be," he said as he kissed her. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
