Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday September 15th 2004 Tiffany walked into the townhouse where she works for Manhattan Party Planning. She was still upset over running into her bosses' wife on the sidewalk. Nicole had grabbed her by the arm and told her to stay out of her business. The problem was Nicole told her that her family business was indeed in the Mafia. "Hello Tiffany," Clark said as she opened the door to the townhouse where she works. "Hi Clark," she said walking towards her desk where he was seated. "I thought you weren't coming back to work," he said leaning back in her chair and making himself comfortable. "I was just a little upset when I left," she said taking a seat in the chair in front of her desk. "I'm worried about you." "You're worried about me?" she said. "Yes. You seem to be having a lot of problems getting along with people lately." "I don't think so." "Vinny called me a few minutes ago and said he saw you in the apartment building." "Yeah, I saw Vinny when I went home to lunch." "He said that the two of you talked and you made it clear you don't like him, and that you don't like Nicole." "I don't think I ever said that." "Then Nicole called me and said she ran into you on the sidewalk and that you had a lot to say about her father and his business." "Oh for Pete's sake," Tiffany said as her mouth dropped open. "Are you denying this Tiffany?" "It's not entirely the way they're saying. I did run into both of them. They both accused me of butting into their business, but I didn't say anything." "Vinny and Nicole both told me that you are going around talking about her father being in the Mafia." "I only repeated what I heard on the news on TV," she said clearly aggravated with the line of questioning. "It's obvious that you aren't happy with your job here too," he said. "That's not true. I love my job," she said as her heart raced. "I think it might be best if you took a little time off. Maybe you should look around for another job." "Why Clark? Why?" "I want to patch up my relationship with Nicole. I want to try and get her to come home," he said fighting tears. "Good. I hope you can do that." "Can. Why do you have so much doubt about our love? I think this is interfering with my marriage having you work here in the same house where we live." "I don't think so. Besides Nicole's left you." "I want her back. I'm afraid she'll never come back to me if you're here." "Me! I'm not the problem Clark. I can't believe you're blaming me." "I asked Nicole to come over for lunch today and she told me she'd rather not be around you," he said adamantly. "Great! That's just great. Everybody is blaming me for their problems. I can't help it if she cheats and her father was in the Mob," Tiffany blurted out. "Here, Tiffany," he said getting up from her desk chair. "I think you should clear your desk," he said pulling open her desk drawer. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
