Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday September 7th 2004 Starlene closed the door to her sister Tiffany's apartment. She walked back into the living room. Tiffany and Stanley had been waiting for her to finish her conversation in the hallway with Mafia connected Vinny. Vinny was moving into the apartment next door with Tiffany's ex-husband Skeeter hoping this would encourage Starlene to marry him sooner. "Are you okay?" Tiffany asked watching as Starlene walked towards the sofa where Stanley was seated. "Yes. I told him that it's over and that I don't want to be with him," Starlene said taking a seat on the sofa next to Stanley. "You did?" he asked watching her closely. "Yeah. I told him that I'm in love with you Stanley," she said patting him on the arm. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. Why did he do this? Why did he move in next door with Skeeter?" Stanley asked. "He was going to take Nicole's old apartment but she and Clark are split up now," Tiffany said. "There are a lot of apartments in New York City," Stanley said. "Yes that's what I told him too," Starlene said. "Starlene are you sure you didn't ask him to move in over there to pressure me to marry you?" Stanley asked. "No! That just makes me so mad that you would ask me that Stanley," she said jumping up and starting to pace the floor. "Well, you did run off with the guy a few days ago and went to City Hall. You almost married him," Stanley reminded her. "But I didn't Stanley. I don't think I even like him anymore. I'm furious with him for causing me to lose the photo shoot with Playbody Magazine," Starlene said. "I had that all arranged for you too," Stanley reminded her. He'd asked a special favor of his friend the editor. Vinny didn't want Starlene to pose for the gentlemen's magazine so he threatened the editor and caused the man to lose his job. "I don't like this at all. I won't feel safe in my own apartment with that guy living over there," Tiffany said taking a seat in a chair nearby. "He won't be a problem for you Tiffany. He's just a problem for me," Starlene said. "I think she's right about that Tiffany," Stanley agreed. "That doesn't make matters any better," Tiffany said. "Look don't worry about it Tiffany. I'll try to convince him to move out," Starlene said. "I don't want you talking to him," Stanley said. "Oh great! How am I suppose to live now?" Starlene said. "Look I'm going to bed. The two of you can talk this over. I'm just sick of the whole thing. I think a lot of this is your fault Starlene. I hope you've learned a lesson. You shouldn't be talking with men like Vinny let alone getting into cars with them," Tiffany said turning to walk towards her bedroom. "Let it be Tiffany. I'm sick of hearing you tell me how wrong I am. You aren't doing much better with your ex-husband living next door," Starlene said. Tiffany turned to give her a dirty look before closing the door to her bedroom. "Gee have the two of you started fighting too?" Stanley asked. "It's been nothing but trouble for weeks now. I could just die. I don't think I'll ever be happy again," Starlene said feeling tears coming to her eyes. "Want to go to my house?" he asked. "Yes, Stanley," she said wiping her eyes.
