Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday September 3rd 2004 A neighbor walked past Tiffany, Vinny and Skeeter. They stood silently staring at each other. They took a break from their argument in the hallway of the apartment building on Bleecker Street where Tiffany and Skeeter have apartments next door to each other. They all turned to watch as the young girl walked up the stairs and out of sight. "Look Tiffany I ain't going to bother you what-so-ever," Vinny said glancing at the boxes he had left in the hallway. He was moving in next door with her ex-husband Skeeter. "This is not going to work out. Vinny I know you want to marry my sister and it won't work for you to live next door to us," Tiffany said glancing back into her apartment to see Starlene peeping out from her bedroom door listening. "Yes. I do plan on marrying Starlene. I didn't plan on moving in with Skeeter but he's been nice enough to invite me." "I don't want to discuss this any further," Tiffany said stepping back into her living room and starting to close the door. "I'll talk to you later Baby," Skeeter said to his ex-wife. "Just forget it Skeeter. Talk to Nicole. That's what you usually do," she said slamming the door. "Can you believe her?" Skeeter asked looking at Vinny. "What's she so PO'ed about?" Vinny asked as they continued to move the boxes into Skeeter's apartment. "Nicole told Clark that I've been friendly with her. Now Tiffany's all jealous." "Women you can't live with them and you can't live without them," Vinny said shoving a box into the apartment. "Why don't you go on over there and patch it up with Tiffany. I got some business calls to make anyway," Vinny said referring to his job in the Mafia. "Alright. I guess I should before she gets this all blown up into something big," Skeeter said tapping on Tiffany's door. "What Skeeter?" Tiffany said opening the door with a jerk. "Let's talk this over Baby," he said taking a step into her apartment. "I don't want to," she said. "Come on Baby. Vinny told you I haven't been with Nicole. He says she lies and you know she does," he said earnestly. "Alright come on in. I guess we can talk it over," she said as Skeeter stepped into her apartment. "Look Tiffany, I'm sorry if I've caused you any problems here," Vinny said in his thick Brooklyn accent. "I won't be any trouble to you. Let's try to get off to a good start," Vinny said eyeing the last few boxes left in the hallway. "Okay Vinny," she said reluctantly as Skeeter walked into her apartment and closed the door. "What's going on here Skeeter?" Starlene asked walking into the living room to greet her sister and her ex-husband. "Vinny's just going to be staying with me a little while. Nicole wanted her apartment back, so he can't stay there now. It's not a big deal," he said as he watched Starlene staring at him. "It is to me. You know Vinny wants me to marry him." "I talked to him about that Starlene and he knows that he has to leave you alone and let you make up your own mind," Skeeter said walking towards the sofa and taking a seat. "But living right next door! How will I ever be able to get away from him?" Starlene said. "Maybe you'll decide you don't want to get away from him Baby," Skeeter said grinning. His smile faded as the three of them heard loud angry voices in the hallway. Tiffany raced to the front door to look out of the peephole. "What's going on?" Starlene asked as Skeeter got up and started towards the front door. "Stanley's in the hallway with Vinny," Tiffany whispered as her voice quivered in fear. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
