Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday September 1st 2004 Tiffany opened the door to her Bleecker Street apartment and walked in slamming the door behind her. "Tiffany is that you?" Starlene called out from her bedroom. "Yes, it's me," Tiffany said in a disgusted tone of voice. "What's the matter with you?" Starlene asked walking out of her bedroom towards the living room where Tiffany was taking a seat on the sofa. "Skeeter!" she said as she put her feet up on the coffee table. "Skeeter? I thought the two of you were all lovie dovie," Starlene said referring to her sister's ex-husband and next door neighbor. "I did too, until about thirty minutes ago," she said shaking her head. "What happened?" Starlene asked taking a seat on the sofa beside her sister. "Nicole came home and packed up some of her stuff. She's not staying with Clark," she said referring to her boss's wife that had been caught in the act with a car salesman by her husband Clark. "So excuse me. What does this have to do with Skeeter?" "She and Clark were upstairs talking and I listened. Nicole told Clark that she had just talked to Skeeter and he said she should leave him." "You're kidding?" Starlene said hitting her leg with her hand. "No. Then he asked her why she had talked to Skeeter and she said 'Skeeter had always been there for her'. He asked her if she had an affair with Skeeter and she didn't exactly deny it." "I'll be," Starlene said as her mouth dropped open. "Yeah. Just when I thought Skeeter was changing. I thought we might even get married again." "Maybe Nicole's lying." "I don't think so," Tiffany said as the two women heard voices out in the hallway. "Are you expecting anyone?" Tiffany asked her sister. "No, Stanley's coming later," Starlene said getting up and walking towards the front door. She opened the peephole and looked out. "Who is it out there?" Tiffany asked as she sat on the sofa and watched. Starlene turned and motioned for her sister to hurry to the front door. Tiffany got up quickly and rushed to the door as Starlene moved to the side so that Tiffany could look through the peephole. "I don't believe it," Tiffany whispered as she watched her ex-husband Skeeter and Vinny moving boxes into Skeeter's apartment next door. The two women walked back towards the sofa and stood for a moment looking at each other. "What could they be doing?" Starlene whispered. "I don't know. Do you think we should just open the door and ask them?" Tiffany asked. "No. I just talked to Stanley and he might stop by. The last thing I need is for Vinny to be around," Starlene said. "Why don't you go into your bedroom and close the door. I'll step out in the hallway and find out," Tiffany said as Starlene eagerly nodded and turned towards her bedroom. Tiffany walked to the front door and opened it. "Hi Tiffany," both men said in unison. "Hi Vinny. Hi Skeeter. What's going on here?" she asked. "Vinny's moving in with me Baby," Skeeter said grinning. "What?" Tiffany said instantly regretting the sharpness in her voice. "Don't sound so excited Tiffany. I told you that one day when I marry Starlene we will be family. Looks like we'll be neighbors first," he said laughing as Skeeter picked up another box and shoved it into his apartment. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
