Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday August 31st 2004 "Look Clark, the best thing for you to do is to calm down," Tiffany said as she watched her boss staring out of the window of the townhouse where they work. "I'm feeling a little better now. I'm so glad you and Starlene were here when I got back," he said glancing at Starlene. "No problem Clark. I hope everything works out for you," she said picking up her purse and walking towards the front door to leave. "I understand how things like this are so upsetting. If there is anything I can do," she said opening the door to leave. "Thanks Starlene," he said as she waved to her sister and walked out closing the door behind her. "So I guess you'll file for a divorce from Nicole," Tiffany said. "No, I want her back," he said wiping fresh tears from his cheeks. "Clark maybe you should just call it quits. I mean she hasn't been the ideal wife," Tiffany said thinking about the many affairs that Nicole had while he was out of the office. "She's just confused I think. Maybe she was upset about her father dying," he said referring to Nicole's Mafia boss father that was shot recently in a Florida restaurant. "Well maybe that's it but that's not exactly the way most people handle their grief." "What do you think I should do... divorce her?" "There are a lot of women out there." "That is what you think. Isn't it?" he said starting to cry again as the front door opened. "Niki," he said walking towards his wife. "I've just come to pick up some things," she said starting up the stairs towards the bedroom. "You aren't leaving are you honey?" "Yes. I'm moving my stuff out of here Clark. I can't take your jealousy," she said as he followed her up the stairs. "But I caught you with that man. What do you expect for me to do?" he pleaded as he followed her towards their upstairs bedroom. Tiffany got up from the sofa and tiptoed towards the staircase to listen. "You're too possessive Clark. I can't take it anymore. I've talked to several people and they think leaving is the best thing for me to do," she said pulling open drawers and taking out lingerie then tossing it on the bed. "Who said that?" he asked taking a seat on the bed and watching her. "Skeeter and Vinny both said they think I should leave you," she said. Tiffany had to stop herself from gasping out loud when she heard her ex-husband Skeeter's name mentioned. "Skeeter? What has he got to do with this?" Clark asked. "Skeeter and I are friends. He's always been there for me when I needed him," she said opening her suitcase and tossing the lingerie inside. "Skeeter? I can't believe you're saying this," Clark said. "Why not?" "How dare Skeeter talk to my wife." "See there you go again. You're too possessive Clark. I can't take it anymore," she said opening another drawer and taking out jeans. "Have you been having an affair with him too?" "We've been close yes. See! You can't take it Clark. It's not working for us," she said slamming the top to the suitcase. "Does Tiffany know this?" he asked. "I don't know and don't care." "How many men have there been Nicole?" Clark asked following her into the hallway as she prepared to go downstairs. "The truth is not what you want to hear. I'm not a good wife," she said avoiding his question. "You're just upset Nicki. I know it's been hard on you after your father died. We can work this out," he said following her down the stairs towards the living room. Tiffany had tiptoed back to her desk. She pretended to glance up when Nicole entered the living room. "I'll be back for my other things later," Nicole said walking out of the front door and slamming it behind her. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
