Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday August 24th 2004 Nicole walked into the townhouse where she and her husband Clark ran their party planning business. "Maybe I better go," Starlene said glancing towards her sister. Nicole's husband Clark had just come in and ran upstairs almost in tears he was so upset. "Oh so you're here," Nicole said as she glanced towards Tiffany's desk and saw Starlene. "Yeah, I was just leaving," Starlene said. "Well, don't let me interrupt your party," Nicole said quickly walking up the staircase towards Clark's office. "Oh no," Starlene whispered turning to see Tiffany wide eyed as she stared up towards Clark's office. "I guess we might know soon what happened. I mean he's never been this upset," Tiffany whispered. "Do you think I should leave?" "Maybe," Tiffany said as they started to hear the sound of Clark's voice from the office upstairs. "Let's go over there so we can hear," Starlene whispered as the two sisters got up and tiptoed towards the staircase to eavesdrop. They heard the sound of something crashing to the floor and glass breaking. They both held their breath wondering what had happened. "It's not that easy Clark," Nicole said. "That's what it all looks like to me Nicole. Broken, all of our plans and dreams broken," he cried. "Well, throwing our wedding portrait on the floor isn't going to change anything," she said calmly. "Why Nicole? Why did you do that?" he pleaded. "It wasn't exactly like it looked Clark." "Nicole you were doing it with him. I saw it with my own eyes," Clark cried as his voice broke in pain. "It didn't mean anything. Nothing," she said. "Why? Why? I thought we were happy. I thought you loved me." "I guess you'll never understand so there's no need for me to go into everything," she said as they heard her footsteps walking towards the bathroom. Tiffany and Starlene glanced at each other as they heard Clark's footsteps following Nicole into the bathroom upstairs. "What are you doing?" Clark asked. "Taking a shower. What does it look like?" She said as they heard her turn on the water in the shower. "Just like that. You just come home and take a shower," Clark said. "What do you want me to do?" "Talk to me. Make me understand why this happened Nicole." "Let me take a shower. I'll talk to you later," she said as they heard Clark's footsteps walking back into his office. "Wow, she just jumps in the shower after that," Starlene whispered. "She's really got a lot of nerve. Did you hear him say he saw them doing it? Tiffany whispered. "Yeah. I wonder who he was." "I think it's the car salesman," Tiffany whispered. "What car salesman?" Starlene asked. "The Ferrari salesman where Vinny bought his car," Tiffany said raising her eyebrows as she referred to the hot looking car that had caused so much trouble. "How do you know that?" "Because Vinny came by here to talk to me about you," Tiffany said as she watched Starlene's mouth drop open. Vinny had almost talked Starlene into marrying him a few days ago and wasn't giving up too easily it seems. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
