Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday August 16th 2004 "Starlene that was Clark," Tiffany said as she hung up the telephone and started to pace the floor of her Bleecker Street apartment. "Yeah. Is he all upset over his father-in-law dying?" she asked referring to Tiffany's boss and his wife Nicole's Mafia connected Dad. "No, he and Nicole are on their way home from Florida. It's you that I'm worried about again." "Why?" Starlene asked as she watched her sister pace the floor. "Because Clark wants me to call the cleaning service and have them go to Nicole's former apartment on Bleecker Street and get it ready." "Ready for what?" "For Vinny to move into," Tiffany said turning to watch her sister's reaction. "Oh no!" "Yeah. See there. I told you not to get involved with Vinny." "It was just a ride in his car!" she exclaimed referring to her running off with the Mafia connected Vinny that worked for Nicole's father. "Well, it was the ride to hell Starlene! Look what's happening now." "I know. I lost the job with Playbody Magazine because Vinny threatened the editor. Stanley sounds all nervous too. I'm worried he'll change his mind about me moving back in with him." "And you think Stanley will want to marry you after all of this?" Tiffany asked through narrowed eyes. "Well, it's not my fault! If Stanley had married me when he said he would, I never would have thought about getting into the car with Vinny the other day." "You don't think Starlene! You just do whatever you want. Life isn't that simple," Tiffany said her voice filled with anger. Starlene jumped up from the sofa preparing to sound off at her sister when they heard a knock on the front door. "Who could that be?" Starlene asked. "Probably one of your men," Tiffany said angrily. "I'll see. I don't want to bother you!" Starlene said as she walked towards the front door. She opened the door quickly to see Tiffany's ex-husband Skeeter standing in the hallway. "It's one of your men Tiffany," she said turning away to walk back into the living room. "What kind of greeting is that?" Skeeter asked walking into the living room and closing the door. "She's mad at me," Tiffany said as they watched Starlene take a seat on the sofa and pick up a magazine as if she were going to ignore the couple. "What does that mean one of your men?" Skeeter asked staring at his ex-wife. "Oh, she's just mad. You're the only man I'm seeing." "You sure of that?" "Yes Skeeter. We were just fighting." "You two don't fight much. What's the matter?" he asked taking a seat in a chair near the sofa as Tiffany paced the living room floor. "Clark called and he and Nicole are on the way home from Florida." "They already had the funeral for Nicole's old man?" Skeeter asked. "Yeah." "So what's the problem here?" he asked as he observed the hostility between the sisters. "Vinny's moving into Nicole's old apartment up the street," Tiffany said. "So?" Skeeter asked. "Vinny threatened the editor of Playbody Magazine and I didn't get the job modeling that Stanley had arranged for me," Starlene said. "Oh. I see. So everyone's mad at Vinny now," Skeeter said. "Scared and mad," Tiffany said. "He's probably in line for Nicole's father's job and he still wants Starlene to marry him," Tiffany said. "So tell him you don't want to marry him if that's the way you feel Starlene," Skeeter said turning to Starlene. "I did. He's not taking no for an answer," she admitted. "You want me to help you out with this?" Skeeter asked. "What could you do?" Starlene asked. "I'll take care of it. Don't worry," Skeeter said. "You got any beer Baby?" he asked turning his attention to his ex-wife. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
