Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday August 13th 2004 Tiffany watched as Starlene threw herself onto the sofa of her Bleecker Street apartment. "Starlene I'm glad you won't be modeling for that magazine," Tiffany said referring to Playbody Magazine. "I'm not. I think this is all Vinny's fault too," she said remembering how adamant Vinny was that he didn't want her posing for the men's magazine. "Why do you say that?" "Because that's what Stanley thinks too," she said referring to the phone call she just had with her older lover. "Is that what Stanley said?" "Yeah and it seems it was the decision of the editors too. That means there's nothing that can be done. I'm furious with Vinny for this," she said as tears started to roll down her cheek. "Well, I'm glad you aren't modeling." Tiffany said taking a seat beside her sister on the sofa. "It looks like Vinny is going to try and control my life now," she said referring to the Mafia connected guy from Brooklyn that she had almost married. "I told you he's nothing but trouble." "Well, that's it. I'm mad at him now. He better not even bother to call me again." "Good. I hope you mean that Starlene," Tiffany said as the phone rang again. "I'll get it," she said picking up the phone. "Hello," Tiffany answered as Starlene dried the tears on her cheeks. "Tiffany it's me," Clark said. "Oh hi Clark. I'm sorry to hear about your father in law," Tiffany said. "So it's on the news there in New York too?" "Oh yeah." "The reporters are making it sound like he was a Mafia boss or something," Clark said. "Yes he was. Wasn't he?" "No, I'll never believe it," Clark said still clearly in denial of his wife's family ties to the Mafia. "How's it going there?" "The funeral was earlier today. Traffic was tied up from Daytona Beach to Miami." "Wow." "Yeah, it was a huge production." "Do they know who killed him?" "No, not yet. It seems there were a couple of men that were jealous of him," Clark said. "Jealous?" "Yeah, Nicole says he might have been having affairs with a couple of married women." "Oh, so it wasn't work related?" "No. I think all of that is just rumor. Nicole says every time someone in her family dies the rumors start." "I'm sorry. How is Nicole?" "She's fine. We're on the way home. We'll be back tonight. I wanted to let you know. Be at work tomorrow," he said. "Good. I'm glad. Have a good trip." "Oh, one more thing Tiffany." "Yeah, what's that?" "Have the cleaning service clean up Nicole's old apartment on Bleecker Street," he said. "You mean the one she had before you guys got married?" "Yeah, she kept it." "Okay." "Get another set of keys made for Vinny." "Vinny?" Tiffany said noticing that she had Starlene's full attention. "Yeah, he'll be staying there until he finds a place," Clark said. "You mean Vinny is going to be living in New York permanently?" "Yeah. Tell Starlene. I know she'll be glad," Clark said before hanging up the phone. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
