2 pints strawberries 1/4 cup sweet Marsala 3 tablespoons sugar 1/4 cup Mascarpone cheese (2 ounces) 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 cup heavy cream whipped
Set aside 4 perfect strawberries for garnish. Hull and slice the remaining berries. In a medium bowl, stir together the sliced strawberries, Marsala and sugar. Let macerate at room temperature for 30 minutes. In a medium bowl, whisk the Mascarpone and honey until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream. Spoon the strawberries into 4 dessert bowls and top with Mascarpone cream. Garnish with the reserved whole berries. Serves 4.
