Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday August 4th 2004 "Skeeter stay out of this", Tiffany scolded as her ex-husband got up from the sofa in her apartment and walked towards the front door. "I'm leaving. I've got to get back down to 'Next to Nothing,'" he said referring to his lingerie shop on the ground floor of the apartment building. "I'll tell you before I go though Starlene, you should marry Vinny," Skeeter said as he watched Tiffany shake her finger at him. "Thanks for the advice," Starlene said. "I think it's too late though, he's already seen my wedding gown. It would be bad luck," she said glancing down at the long white wedding gown she was wearing. "Buy another one," Skeeter said. "Shut up Skeeter," Tiffany said as she followed her ex-husband to the door to leave. "It's the best thing that could happen that they didn't know they needed a license and couldn't get married. Vinny's in the Mafia. I don't want my sister married to a man like that," Tiffany said frowning as Skeeter opened the door and walked out into the hallway. "Just my opinion. Hang in there Starlene", Skeeter called out as he waved towards her in the living room. Starlene waved back from where she was seated still dressed in her wedding gown. "I'll see you later," Tiffany said shaking her head as she closed the front door. "I know you're probably mad at me aren't you?" Starlene said as she watched Tiffany walk back to the sofa and take a seat. "I've been worried sick Starlene." "I almost married him." "You're lucky that didn't happen." "The clerk never told us until the last minute that we had to get a license a day in advance. Vinny tried to pay them off and everything but they wouldn't take his money," she said remembering the embarrassing scene. "I was so humiliated, all dressed up in this wedding gown," she said looking down at the dress she had chosen for her wedding with Stanley. "Better a few minutes of humiliation now than a lifetime of grief after you married someone in the Mafia." "I guess. If Stanley hadn't sent that guy down there to try and stop me I would be in tears right now." "Have you talked to Stanley yet?" "No, Vinny drove me home. I haven't had a chance to call Stanley. Vinny is still hoping I'll marry him tomorrow," she said grinning. "So tell Vinny to get lost," Tiffany said. "No, I'm going to tell Stanley to marry me or I might just go back tomorrow with Vinny." "Starlene that's enough of this now," Tiffany said sternly. "Well, Stanley did send that guy from Playbody Magazine down there to tell me they want me to pose again. I did at least get that out of this ordeal," she said leaning back in the chair in the long white gown. "Yeah. I guess taking off your wedding gown and modeling for a centerfold is a good outcome in this situation," Tiffany said. "Stop it. You're just jealous." "I am not jealous." "You are too. If they asked you to pose in Playbody I bet you would." "Never," Tiffany said. "I bet you would." "Well it doesn't matter. There's no need for us to argue. I'm just very relieved that I don't have to call Georgia and tell Mamma you married a man in the Mafia," Tiffany said. "I guess," Starlene said as the telephone on the coffee table rang. "Which one of them is it, Stanley or Vinny?" Starlene asked as Tiffany reached for the phone. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
