Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday July 9th 2004 Starlene slid into the back of the red Ferrari quickly placing her long white wedding gown on her lap as Vinny closed the door. She glanced across the street and saw her fiancé Stanley walking towards his limo. Her heart sank as she glanced down at her wedding gown and back at the cab in front of Vinny's new Ferrari that was packed with her suitcases. "How did this all happen so fast?" she asked out loud as Vinny slid into the driver's side and slammed the door of his new car. He quickly turned the key and the motor raced as people on the sidewalk stopped and stared. Starlene glanced towards the sidewalk and noticed a woman taking her picture. She noticed that the skirt of her wedding gown was draped out over the car door and the bodice of the gown was on her lap. Vinny quickly turned the key in the ignition and hit the gas hard just before letting off the brake. The tires squealed loudly as he raced out into the traffic on Bleecker Street in front of a loaded New York City Sightseeing Double-Decker Tour Bus. Her sister Tiffany raised her second story apartment window quickly hoping to call out to Starlene before the car sped out into the Greenwich Village traffic. Disappointed that she was too late, she watched Stanley on the other side of the street next to his limo. She saw him staring at the speeding red Ferrari in the distance with the long white wedding gown hanging out of the window blowing in the wind. "Stanley, what's going on?" Tiffany called. Stanley shrugged his shoulders. He wiped what Tiffany imagined were tears from his aging face. "Where did Starlene go?" Tiffany called out. "I don't know," he said. "Is she coming back?" Tiffany asked noticing that people on the sidewalk were gossiping about the scene that had just taken place. "I don't know," he said. "Why didn't you stop her?" Tiffany asked suddenly very concerned that her sister was in a fast car with a Mafia bosses' assistant. "I tried," he said standing at the curb. "Oh no. Should I call the police?" Tiffany asked noticing people on the sidewalk looking up at her window gasping at her words. "No, I don't guess so," he said "Come up to my apartment," Tiffany said as she saw her ex-husband Skeeter walking out of the door of his lingerie store "Next to Nothing" on the ground floor of her building. "What's going on out here?" Skeeter asked glancing towards Stanley having seen the red Ferrari speeding past his store window. "I don't know," Stanley said shaking his head. "Starlene is in a car with Vinny and they sped away," Tiffany called out as more people on the sidewalk stopped and gossiped. "Vinny?" Skeeter asked. "Yeah," Tiffany said. "I didn't know Vinny even had a car," Skeeter said thinking about the shiny new Ferrari. "It looked like a new Ferrari," Tiffany said. "I should have gone to work with him," Skeeter mumbled as he realized how much money Vinny must be making. "Well, where were you when this happened?" Skeeter asked Stanley through narrowed eyes. "There was nothing I could do. He took her," Stanley said. "More like she came to her senses," Skeeter said. "Skeeter don't just stand there. We've got to get Starlene. I'm worried about what Vinny will do with her," Tiffany called out from her window on the second floor. "All of her suitcases are still here in my cab. I'm not going to wait forever either," the cab driver shouted. "She'll be back if she left her suitcases," Skeeter said. "But she took her wedding gown with her," Stanley said. "Yeah, and she's determined to get married too," Tiffany called out as people gathered in-groups whispering and pointing. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
